More More More: Restaurant quality food at home!

As much as I  love going out for a meal, at this time of year I always feel torn between wanting to eat a meal that I didn’t have to slave away over, and my reluctance to change out of my pyjamas. And although on a weekend we often make do with a take away, it really isn’t quite the same as good quality, gourmet food!

So when More More More got in touch to offer me a restaurant-quality meal, bought online, for home delivery throughout mainland UK, I was intrigued. More More More use the finest ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible, to deliver chilled, ready to cook meals for busy Mums, harried professionals and stressed our dinner party hosts. And I for one could not wait to try it!

With over 70 starts, main courses and desserts you can simply build your own menu, or choose from a selection of set menus, and prepare for delivery! Each dish has clear instructions and has been tested to make sure the even the least experienced cook can heat it through in their own kitchen to produce brilliant results with minimal effort.

For our starter we selected chicken skewers with peanut dripping sauce. The chicken came on the skewer, pre-marinated, and ready to pop into the oven or under the grill. It was absolutely delicious and just as good, if not better, than similar starters I have had in top class restaurants.

For our main course we chose seared fillet steak with tarragon and parsley dressing, Dauphionoise potatoes and roasted root vegetables with maple syrup. The cooking process was super easy, simply a case of placing the potatoes and steak in the oven and the vegetables on a baking tray, something even I can manage! The result was the most delicious meal we’ve had in a long while and the steak was to die for!

For dessert we chose chocolate brownie which, along with many other items on the menu, was gluten free. We had some ice cream in the freezer so added some for extra indulgence, and it was just as delicious as the other two courses! I sometimes struggle with brownies as I find them quite dry but with this containing beetroot it was lovely and moist, and I love that it contained nuts for some added texture.

I was so impressed with our meal and, if you’re looking for a special meal this Mothers Day, have dinner party plans or simply want to enjoy a delicious meal, I can’t recommend More More More enough. The fact I can enjoy restaurant quality food, in my own home, wearing my pyjamas? For me it doesn’t get much better than that!
