Review: Jo Jo Microphone & Bodacious Bow
You’d have to be living under a rock to have missed the latest crazy to sweep the nation this last year or so, the American singer, dancer, singer, actress and YouTube personality – Jo Jo Siwa. Not only is she doing incredibly well with almost five million YouTube followers, but she has brought out a whole range of items including the hugely popular item, the Jo Jo bow.
And this crazy hasn’t gone un-noticed by my girls, having pleaded with me, pretty much every day for the last few months, for a Jo Jo bow of their own and a huge list of items from Jo Jo’s range. When we were sent the Jo Jo Siwa microphone and the Jo Jo Bodacious Bow, the look on the girls faces was priceless!

The Jo Jo Siwa microphone features three different modes and lights up to turn you into a pop star like Jo Jo!

The girls love that you can use the microphone in the standard way, just to amplify their voices, although trust me when I say, there really is no need whatsoever for my girl’s to be any louder!!!

You can also sing along to Jo Jo’s hit song Boomerang at the touch of a button. The microphone lights up during use which is always exciting when you’re four and five.

The microphone is also MP3 compatible so you can plug in your device and have access to any song you have already installed on there. We’ve had a week of Boomerang and Disney Classics!

The bodacious bow is an oversized bow with a colourful hair extension attached, and as you can imagine, the girls went crazy for it!

I’ll be honest with you, the bows are not something I would necessarily choose to style my children’s hair with and yet at the same age I would have been all over them and thought they were the height of fashion! As a dress up item these bows are great though!

Attached to a crocodile clip the bows easily attach to your hair and yet due to being a little heavy I found they quite easily slip out. We combatted that problem by slotting the clip through the girls hair bobble for a little more security, totally necessary when they are rocking out to Boomerang!!
The Jo Jo Siwa microphone is £15 from Amazon & The Entertainer.
The Bodacious Bow is £9.99 from Amazon.

I can only imagine the noise my eldest daughter would make with this microphone, though I know she’d have the best time 🙂
Haha thankfully it’s not THAT loud, my kids are noisy enough!!

I’ve definitely been living under a rock – a dirty, muddy rock with boys sitting on it!! Yes I’m blessed with boys only so lovely sparkly things and bows usually pass me by! Luckily at this time of year I get to indulge my girly side when shopping for my nieces.
Hahah yes I think the Jo Jo bows have bypassed my boys too! xx
This would be a great toy to help kids develop a talent for singing. This would also boost their personality! My daughter is a little too old for this but I will surely recommend this to my cousin so her daughters could have fun with the Jojo Microphone.
Yes I really noticed Eva’s confidence coming on as she played with it which was lovely to see! xx
The bow is cute! The microphone would be a lovely Christmas gift along with the bow for any little girls.

Mine too! I’m just glad it’s not TOO loud…can you imagine? xx
