Until recently I’ll be honest, I had never heard of Annie Haak, designer and creator of ANNIE HAAK Jewellery. Annie is quite simply, inspirational when, after her husband Johnie was critically injured in a motorcycle accident in Bali, she took triumph from near tragedy, and proved the doubters wrong. Watching over Johnie that day was his Guardian Angel and so became the signature piece for ANNIE HAAK Designs, the ‘My Guardian Angel’ charm. On that trip, a chance encounter with a taxi driver became the turning point in ANNIE HAAK Designs as he introduced Annie to a local silversmith, who breathed life into her designs. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Annie’s jewellery collection are now much sought-after and worn but a host of celebrities including Lumley, Jodie Whittaker, Binky Felstead and Fearne Cotton. Annie gets much of her inspiration for her designs from the island of Bali, where she is based for most of the year. She gathers her influences from aspects of Bali life – the local flora and fauna, the magical people, and the colours and patterns found in the local markets and villages.

And honestly, from the moment I was introduced to her website I was completely wowed by her collections, each as beautiful as the next, all so unique and utterly timeless. With Valentines Day approaching I have been lusting over Annie’s Valentines Day collection and honestly, every piece is stunning.
