Review & Giveaway: Harrow & Green Make-your-Own Personalised Santa Sack
Every Christmas Eve without fail, after the children have opened up their Christmas Eve hamper and put on their new pyjamas, they lay out their Santa Sacks ready for the next day. I think that’s the point where they really allow themselves to believe that Christmas has FINALLY come around and, as they run up the stairs to bed, they always shoot a look back at their sacks as though to will them to be bursting with presents in the morning.
When Harrow & Green got in touch and asked if I would like to review their Santa Sacks, with a huge range of designs to choose from, I was drawn to the Make Your Own Santa Sacks with the thought of how lovely it would be to include them in their Christmas Eve hampers this year and make them together as a fun activity before bed.
Priced at £25 the kids have everything you need to create your own Santa Sack with each box containing a high quality printed hessian Christmas sack, a selection of red glitter iron-on letters (selected to ensure 99% of all named can be spelled!), a letter placement template (to help you line up the letters on the sack) and an instruction sheet to show you exactly how to do it!
I think the children will love picking out the letters for each of their names and helping to place them on the sack using the letter placement tempate. I love the red glittery letters which are just perfect for adding that extra Christmas sparkle!
The next part will need an adult as you need to set your iron to the cotton setting and then carefully place the ironing paper over the letters and ironed for two minutes. Once you’ve left it five minutes to cool the children can help to peel pack the template and the letters will be stuck to the sack!
I think this is such a lovely idea as, although Harrow & Green do ready personalised sacks, I think doing it themselves is all part of the excitement for children! I can’t wait to see their faces when they open up their Christmas Eve hampers this year to discover these kits and I’m sure by the time we’ve created them the children will be begging to go to bed so they can wake to see them bursting with presents by morning.
We are offering one lucky winner the chance to win a Make Your Own Personalised Santa Sack worth £25 simply by entering via the link below. One winner will be chosen at random and notified via mail at close of giveaway on 1st December. Good luck!
