Father’s Day Gift Guide ** WIN **

Well here we are, another special occasion just around the corner, and another gift guide to inspire you with! I always struggle with men’s gift guides, where as women’s and children’s I could create over and over. I think men are notoriously difficult to buy for, well the men in our family are, and where as I do love to buy Gaz and my own Dad personal items, I also like to spoil them with something extra to show them how grateful we are to them for all they do. So here we go, my top eleven ideas and the chance to win an amazing gift for someone special!

1. Personalised Bubblegum Balloon

Bubblegum Balloons have an amazing, fun, and personalised range of balloons to order and have delivered right to the home of someone you love. You can literally celebrate any occasion, for any age.

I love this Personalised Father’s Day Balloon which reads You’re My Super Dad with Batman and Spider man decorations down the ribbon. You can personalise the text to whatever you wish, so we have changed ours to read ‘Daddy’ instead and I’m sure Gaz will love opening it when it arrives on Father’s Day. RRP £30.

2. Live True Wireless Bluetooth Ear Buds

With Gaz recently back in the gym he has been dropping hints he could do with some new headphones and these Live True Wireless Bluetooth Ear Buds are perfect for those wanting to listen to music on the go. Free from wires, with a 10 metre bluetooth range, you can keep your device tucked away and free to play for up to 3 hours on a single charge.

The ear buds are supplied with unique 2200 maH charging case which you can use for 10 full charges and you can even top up the charge on your mobile device too. Priced at £49.99 these would make a fantastic gift for Father’s Day!

3. Cranes Cider Gift Set

When all else fails for gift ideas for Gaz, I turn to alcohol. Well not personally (although this may well help the headache of shopping for the man who has everything!) but for a gift idea, you can’t go wrong! I love this Cranes Cider Gift Set, including three delicious flavours – Blueberries & Apple, Cranberries & Lime, Raspberries & Pomegrantates – and a branded cider glass.

Cranes ciders contain 30% fewer calories than the brand leaders as they utilise the natural sugars which come from the super fruits they brew, meaning they are great for those watching their waist line too! Available to buy from Asda.

4. Hersey & Son Leather Bracelet

We are big fans of Hersey & Son here and I love how many gorgeous gifts they have for Father’s Day this year. This high quality leather man’s bracelet with a solid silver clasp is perfect for those who prefer a simple accessory whilst still being incredibly stylish.

Presented inside a fabric pouch within a Hersey & Son presentation box, you can even engrave the front with up to six initials in a Modern Roman font to create a more personalised gift. The bracelet also comes in four lengths to ensure a good fit – 19cm, 20cm, 21cm, and 22cm so that as long as you can find a sneaky way to measure their wrist, you can guarantee it’s going to fit the recipient! Priced at £60 I think this is such a lovely gift and one I know that Gaz would adore, especially with the children’s initials engraved fore that personal touch.

5. Baylis & Harding Skin Spa Men’s Weekend Bag

For the man who loves to travel, the Baylis & Harding Skin Spa men’s weekend bag is a fantastic gift idea and at £29.99 a real bargain. I love Baylis & Harding purely because you get real quality products for an affordable price. With 200ml shower gel, 150g soap, 100ml hair & body wash, 100ml body lotion and 50ml aftershave balm, the set has everything you need in a gorgeous amber and sandalwood fragrance.

The bag is made of a soft grey felt material and is a decent size to fit in the basics for a weekend stay. Gaz’s weekend bag broke during our last trip so this is going to be on the top of my list!

6. Tile Mate

For those who lose everything (no names mentioned here, Gaz…), the Tile Mate is a fab little gadget to which you can attach to your keys, a bag, or wallet, and should you lose them you can locate them via the Tile app on your phone. You can ring the device, or check out the map to see if it’s nearby, and should you lose your phone but not your devices, you can press the tile button to ring your phone! It is such a clever idea and one which is very much needed!

Tile Mate’s are just £16 for 1, £45 for 4, or £100 for 8, so the more you buy the cheaper they are. I think it’s a great idea to attach them to everything, maybe even the kids….

7. Belkin Pocket Power 10k Power Bank

When Gaz goes anywhere, you can guarantee that his battery will run out on his phone and this Father’s Day I have the perfect gift to prevent him using that excuse in future – the Belkin Pocket Power 10K Power Bank! In a slim and lightweight design, the power bank fits in your pocket or bag and recharges your smartphone to provide enough power for an additional 70 hours of video playback!!

I love that the power bank has a temperature rise regulation preventing overheating and energy loss, comes in a durable plastic casing to keep the battery safe and lightweight, and most of all comes with a £1500 connected equipment warranty so that should your device be damaged by an electrical charge whilst connected to the Belkin power bank, it will be repaired or replaced up to a value of £1500. That kind of warranty speaks volumes about Belkin’s confidence in their own products. RRP £34.99.

8. Tufferman Storage Shelves

When it comes to Father’s Day presents you may think that storage shelves aren’t the most exciting gift but trust me, if you knew my Dad, you would see that they can be the gift of dreams for those who like to tinker in the garage! The perfect way to organise your garage or stockroom, the Tufferman Storage shelves click together without any need for screws, and can hold up to 265kg of weight per level!!

With 5 adjustable levels to maximise storage space, finished in a stylish graphite grey colour, the shelves arrive flat packed and are easily assembled with a supplied rubber mallet. My Dad is literally going to have a field day rearranging his garage with these and I know he would choose a gift like for himself hands down! RRP 82.99.

9. Grander Rum 8 Years Old

Gaz is a huge fan of rum and it is definitely his drink of choice if he is choosing a spirit, so this Grander Panama Rum, 8 years old, is the perfect choice. Having won awards for it’s invitingly smooth flavour and authentic taste, it promises toasty oak and vanilla with added notes of dried fruits and sugar cane.

I have to confess that when this arrived I did give it to Gaz early to crack open and taste, purely for our review, and he said it was the smoothest rum he has had so far – and he’s had a few, trust me! Priced at £37.85 it’s a great gift for rum-lovers and for £4.95 your can have it presented in a premium gift box to really add a little luxury to your gift!

10. Rhubarb Gin

For those who prefer gin, you can buy the most amazing gin gifts from Yumbles including this delicious Rhubarb Gin! Yumbles press the fruit to extract the Rhubarb juice and blend it with their award winning Stratford Gin to produce a sweet and tangy gin which I personally love with ginger ale.

Priced at £33 for a large 50cl bottle I think this is actually really good value for the quality of the gin and it’s always nice to treat your Dad/other half every now and then…even better when there’s the chance they might share it!

11. Sago Palm Plant

Where as flowers are the go to gift for Mum’s on Mother’s Day, I think it’s equally for men to receive something similar and a plant is a great gift idea! Beards & Daisies have an amazing range of flowers and plants, pots, and planters, and as soon as I saw this Sago Palm plant I knew it had Gaz’s name written all over it. He has been desperate for a Palm for a while now and available in medium and large prices start at just £25.

Even better, the plants are delivered to your door, well packaged and with full care instructions, and when our plant arrived I was so impressed with how lovely and lush it was, even after being in transit. We’ve had our plant now for the last 3 weeks and so far it is thriving! This in itself is a miracle as we aren’t the most green fingered and so if you’re looking for a plant that is easy to care for, I recommend something like this!

12. Armani Exchange Men’s Dress Watch

This stunning Armani Exchange watch from Watches2U is a real show piece, with a silver stainless steel bracelet and a stylish black dial, it’s perfect for those who like to make an impression.

Watches2U have the most amazing range of designer watches for both men and women, alongside a range of jewellery and accessories, and as authorised stockists of Armani you can be sure you’re getting the real deal at a fraction of the price.
