Finding the perfect Father’s Day gift with Peter Jackson

With Father’s Day just around the corner I have been on the look out for the perfect Father’s Day gift for Gaz this year from the children. I have shared before that Gaz is notoriously difficult to buy for (although he would disagree!) and every year on Father’s Day, his birthday or Christmas, I find myself searching online, scouring the shops, and trying to come up with a gift he will love. This year Peter Jackson came to my rescue with the most stunning Hugo Boss Oxygen Men’s Watch which I just know he would have chosen himself.

When the watch arrived, beautifully presented in a stylish storage box, I instantly loved how impressive it looks. With a slim 42mm diameter polished stainless steel case, it has such a classy and distinctive look but at the same time can be worn casually to really complete any look. The dial is a stunning slate grey with a sun-ray finish and has two sub dials – one to be used as a 24 hour indicator and one as a date function.

The stainless steel bracelet is something I knew Gaz would love, especially given his other watches are all leather straps and with a simple push button clasp. Personally I love a bracelet style watch, I think they look far more stylish whilst still being versatile and for a watch such as this, they really do make a statement.

The Hugo Boss Oxygen Men’s watch currently retails at £229 from Peter Jackson and although this is a more expensive watch than we have had previously, the quality is on a whole new level. I also think that every now and again it’s nice to treat someone you love to something they wouldn’t ordinarily buy for themselves. Plus everyone deserves a statement watch at one point in their life!

Obviously for the purpose of my review we gave Gaz his present a little early and it’s safe to say that he loved it! He said although it feels solid, it feels surprisingly light on his wrist which is important when you’re working at a desk or on the go and don’t want to feel weighted down by a big heavy watch. I’m so pleased with your choice and now Lewis has his eye on one for himself I think I’ll definitely be checking out the other designer watches Peter Jackson have on their website.
