No dull days with Bassetts Multivitamins
As a family we love nothing more than getting outdoors, running wild and simply spending time together. Regardless of the weather, we will be out in the garden in our short and T-shirts or down the park in our wellies and waterproofs.
The only thing that ever dampens our fun is when the children are poorly, or simply over-tired, and we can’t muster up the energy to get up off the couch and outdoors to have fun. This time of year is always hard and it can feel as though we go through months of illness and fatigue, just getting through each day until Spring comes around again.
This year I was determined that we wouldn’t let anything ruin our fun, and thanks to Bassetts Vitamins we are doing exactly that. The Department of Health experts now recommend that during Autumn and Winter everyone should consider taking a daily supplement containing 10 micrograms of Vitamin D to protect bone and muscle health. Bassetts do not only that but their 3-6 multivitamins also contain added Calcium too for strong and healthy teeth and bones.

In delicious peach and apricot flavour Bassetts vitamins are made with natural flavours and colours, and no added sugar and the children actually told me that they were the best “sweets” they’d ever had! Even better they are just £5.50 for a pack of 30 pastilles, a small price to pay for an Autumn and Winter we can really enjoy!

Last month we visited our local pumpkin patch and the children had the best time! It’s one of our traditions before Halloween each year and the children love nothing more than getting a wheelbarrow and hunting down the biggest, best pumpkins they can find!

There’s nothing I love more than seeing them enjoying themselves, even when it involves the inevitable muddy puddles!

My parents always said that fresh air was the best medicine and I totally agree. Seeing colour in their cheeks and a sparkle in their eyes is so important, and of course I am always there in the background capturing every moment!

Usually I dread the Winter months but this year I am confident that if we continue to take care of ourselves, and keep up with our vitamins, we will have more days out and less days in!

We loved our trip to the pumpkin patch and one thing’s for sure, thanks to Bassetts multivitamins there will be no more dull days!

I’m going to try Lucas with these when he’s 3 as he won’t take any of the under 3 drops x
The girls love them, they actually think they are sweets, hah! xx
I actually had vitamins from this brand myself for years and my kids have them now 🙂
They are the first vitamins my kids have taken without complaining, big win for us! xx
I love when kids take their vitamins without complaint! #bigpinklink
Oh me too! Thanks for joining us Heather! xx
I used to love these when I was younger, they taste so yummy! So cute that your children said they are the best sweets that they have tried!
Haha I know, it’s amazing though, no fuss getting them to take one! xx
We’re currently on a multivitamin syrup with our 2-year-old, great to know there’s an alternative out there for when he decides that he doesn’t like to cooperate with the spoon/syrup technique! There isn’t any peanut oil used in Bassetts is there? #bigpinklink
It says Palm Kernel oil, I’m not sure if that’s the same thing? The kids love them, they are really tasty! xx
I love this campaign, it’s such a great idea! Looks like you had a wonderful day out at the pumpkin patch. My girls really enjoyed that this year.
Thank you Sarah, we had a fab time! xx
I have never tried these but they sound appealing to children. X #bigpinklink
The girls think they are sweets, makes it easier for me getting them to have one! xx

Hi, these sound like a great option for children #bigppinklink
They are great Chloe, would recommend them! xx
it is such a downer when they get sick, and having kids someone is always sick! April actually has low iron too so she needs vitamins for that also. We all take some as there is no time to be sick when you are a mum as you know! Life can be tough sometimes. Gorgeous photos, we have never seen a pumpkin patch! Hope you are doing well my lovely friend #bigpinklink
Oh wow do you not have them over there? I didn’t realise!! Maybe you need to visit the UK in the Autumn, hehe! Ahh low iron can be tough, vitamins are a great way of keeping our kids well! xx
I use to have this brand of multi-vitamins when I was younger! I loved the taste of it, so taking it was no problem whatsoever, I will definitely introduce my little one to it when he’s a bit older. On a side note, those pumpkins are massive! #bigpinklink
Hah they are huge aren’t they! They certainly aren’t lacking vitamins! xx
My children love taking their vitamins – and also call them sweets! We eat a healthy diet as a family but it is so important to top up on nutrients, especially at this time of year, and especially vitamin d. X
I agree, I am vitamin D deficient so I do really worry about the kids! xx
I like the reassurance these type of products give you as a parent. Awesome pumpkin pics.
Me too! Thanks Kate! xx
That’s good to know that your children thought they were sweets! Sometimes getting mine to take their medicine can be traumatic. Thanks for hosting #BigPinkLink xx
Yes definitely! It can be a real struggle! xx
We try to eat our nutrients, but sometimes, you just can’t. School, activities, meals in the car… vitamins play a role when they are needed. Thanks for this review. I’ll give a look at them! #bigpinklink xoxox
I agree, it’s so reassuring to know they are getting their vitamins via a supplement for the days they just won’t eat their veg! xx
My two take these & they are always reminding me that they need to take them, they love them that much! X #bigpinklink
If you aren’t getting your vitamins via fruit then I can see these could be the alternative. #bigpinklink
I think I’m more worried about the lack of vitamin D, I’m deficient and I worry the kids are too! xx
