De’Longhi Magnifica Bean to Cup Coffee
Anyone who knows me will tell you that when it comes to Christmas, I am all over it. I’m that annoying person who will remind you, every single day, just how many weeks it is ’til Christmas, counting down the days with an app on my phone, getting increasingly excited like the big kid I am. But my favourite part about Christmas, and the part that I really struggle to keep a lid on each year, is choosing the perfect gifts for those I love.
Recently ao.com got in touch to ask me if I would like to take part in a Christmas gifting campaign to choose a present for a blogging friend, and of course my answer was yes!!
I was paired with my friend Victoria of Starlight and Stories and, given her love of baking, I knew exactly what she would like! The Kenwood MultiPro Food Processor would mean she could cook up all kinds of delicious treats, just in time for Christmas, and she has shared her own review of this over on her blog.
When it came to receiving my gift I was super excited, even more so when it was delivered and I realised that Victoria had kindly considered both Gaz and I in her gift and it suited the two of us perfectly.
With four children it’s safe to say that we are always tired and, although I only drink de-caffeinated coffee, Gaz goes through a lot of caffeine each day! For that reason the De’Longhi Magnifica Bean to Cup Coffee Machine was the perfect gift choice!
I love that we can now create barista-style coffee at home with three programmes..with our very own coffee machine even if you haven’t trained at a barista training course and with three programmes to choose from we are able to satisfy all of our tastes. These include a long coffee programme to make delicious Americanos and taller drinks at the touch of a button, and Gaz’s favourite, a double espresso to wake him up each morning!
The clever integrated burr grinder uses less heat when it’s preparing the beans so that your coffee retains it’s delicious aromatic flavour. We have been trialling a variety of Strangers coffee beans and working our way through them until we find our favourite. I had no idea that there were so many different beans out there and all equally delicious!
The De’Longhi Magnifica also has a really welcome cup warmer to keep your crockery at the ideal temperature and, my personal favourite, an auto clean function to keep it working at its best.
Gaz and I are both over the moon with our new coffee machine and although he leaves for work long before I am up with the children, there is nothing nicer than coming downstairs to the smell of freshly ground coffee!

This is top of my Christmas wish list! I would love a bean to cup coffee machine, I can’t function without my coffee in the morning and spend far to much in coffee shops. To have one at home would be a dream. Not to send this to Andy!!

No exaggeration, only this weekend I was lusting over my friend’s bean grinding coffee machine!! We have a Nespresso one, but there is so much waste involved with all the capsules, that I like the idea of freshly crushing beans and putting the waste created onto the compost heap. I had forgotten the brand of my friend’s one, but this looks very good. Am off to research further. Kate x

So important as a coffee fuelled mum to have a fab coffee maker at home to power you up in the morning ans this one looks fantastic!

I am looking to get a new coffee machine and this is perfect. I love the smell of fresh coffee beans over pods any day. Nothing nicer to wake up to then the smell of fresh coffee xx

I love the idea of this coffee machine. I have been looking for a while for a perfect coffee machine that can grind and make the brew for me as easy as possible and keep the taste. I am shipping my coffee from south america so a good coffee machine is a must to keep the delicious taste.

I love love your excitement for Christmas. I am that way for birthdays and Thanksgiving. I am not big on gifts but big on birthday cake and getting together with my cousins for Thanksgiving :))))))))))))) Super duper fun. The new coffee “machine” is awesome. And my gosh.. the countdown… right around the CORNER! What happened to the year.

I am not an avid coffee drinker but there is nothing more refreshing than bean to mug coffee. Will see if I can convince myself for this machine.

I had a DeLonghi espresso machine and I loved it. I switched to a space saving coffee maker and life hasn’t been the same. I think I will get on during that Black Friday sale you mentioned. Thanks for reminding me how much I loved this coffee maker.

I drink decaf as well as I am allergic to caffeine but how thoughtful of Victoria to gift you a present that both you and Gaz would both like. I am sure that she was thrilled to bits with her present as well! x
