A little while ago we were invited to be part of the Chad Valley 2017 Play Panel, an opportunity that we grabbed with both hands! With four children, three of whom are still very young, there is nothing they love more than receiving new toys, and no better critics than a 3, 4 and 5 year old!
We have been fans of Chad Valley for as far back as I can remember, they have such a great range of toys that all of the children can enjoy throughout their childhood. This month we have been very lucky to be sent a selection of toys from the Tots Town range which offers a mix of roles and adventures for little ones to enjoy. From Princess Castle’s to Fire stations, Police play sets to a country cottage, when our first parcel arrived the children literally did not know what to play with first!
Harry’s favourite was the Cottage and I can see why. Where as the girls have a huge dolls house, at three, Harry is happier with smaller play sets and chunkier figures, and this one was perfect for him.
The set includes one cottage with sounds, one Mummy, Daddy and Baby and also various furniture items including a bed, bath, toilet and sofa!
The figures are really chunky and perfect for little hands and Harry particularly loved that the baby can be removed from the pram too.
I couldn’t help but laugh when Harry instantly took the Daddy figure, sat him on the couch and put the television infront of him, “Daddy is watching telly!” he told me. Sounds about right!
With a sounding doorbell and sink and cooker sounds at the press of a button, Harry was over the moon with his new toy.
The thing I love about Chad Valley is how they encourage children to use their imaginations, and seeing Harry playing with the Tots Town cottage was so lovely. He was in his element chatting away to the figures and pressing the doorbell…..on repeat!
Priced at £19.99, and included in the 3 for 2 toys deal at Argos, I think this is such a reasonable price for a playset that can be enjoyed from being very small even up to older children. Although Harry claimed the set as his own, when the girls came home from school they swooped on it and couldn’t wait to join in!
If you’d like to try this toy or need anything at all from Argos this Christmas, we are giving away a £75 Argos voucher to one lucky winner! To enter simply enter via the link below, the winner will be notified via email on October 29th.
