Tonka Tough: Tonka Diecast Review & Giveaway
You may have seen over on Instagram that we have been reviewing Tonka toys, a brand that both myself and the children adore. Not only are they excellent value for money, come with a lifetime guarantee and spark the children’s imagination, but they are tough. Not just Tonka Tough, but Harry tough!!
And if I inadvertently imply that my child is a little rough, then let me tell you that it’s a running joke in our house that you can give Harry any single item and he will have broken it within minutes. For that reason, when I buy the children toys, I want them to last. And Tonka have never failed us yet!!
I am a huge believer that if you buy a child a toy they should be allowed to play with it, in any way they choose, and being precious about them or putting limitations on them is only ever going to cut short a child’s imagination. And so last weekend during our stay at the beach, Harry brought along his Tonka toys and couldn’t wait to put them through their paces on the sand.

They are great fun and also last a lot longer than other toys. Plus they remind me of an old school crush whose nickname was “Tonka” – didn’t take any notice of me until we met up over 10 years later and he asked me out for a drink.
