#TildaKids: Adding a little sunshine into our dinner!

As a Mum of four, juggling a business, homework, housework, hanging on to my sanity by a thread, there just never seems to be enough hours in the day. By the time the children have come home from school and we’ve gone through their reading books, ploughed our way through the homework, had a walk to the play ground, or played a game in the garden, I often find myself looking at the clock wondering where the day has gone, and what on earth we will have for dinner?

And whilst I am very aware of making sure that my children eat well, have their five a day, and a home cooked meal, slogging it out in the kitchen isn’t always possible. For that reason I am all about the easy, but healthy, options, and this is where Tilda Kids are a god send! With best-selling varieties such as Sunshine Vegetable or Cheese & Tomato, they are packed full of nutritious goodness, using all natural ingredients, with each pack counting as 1 of their 5 a day!

One of the children’s favourite meals is Chicken Korma, a nice easy dish that, thanks to a ready made sauce, some chicken breast and Tilda Kids, I can have ready in under 15 minutes.

The great thing about Tilda Kids Sunshine Vegetable is that, given the fact my children go crazy if they see the smallest onion in their Korma, I know they are getting lots of nutritional goodness via the butternut squash, carrots and sweetcorn within the rice.

With Harry, Megan and Eva at 4, 5 and 6, I love that each Tilda Kids sachet has been specially developed to cater for children’s taste palates and growing appetites. They can be eaten on their own or as an accompaniment to a meal as the children grow, which is perfect for us!

All recipes are gluten-free and three of four variants are dairy free which given the price of just £1.15 for a 125g sachet, I think is a really great price. They are also all vegetarian and free from artificial colours and preservatives.

Tilda Kids sachets are ready to eat in just 40 seconds in the microwave, or 3 minutes stir fried, and for anyone who has sat around waiting for rice to boil, you’ll appreciate how convenient that is!

I’m sure there are parents of fussy eaters who, like me, assume their children will pull their face at the sight of those added vegetables, and yet I found that the majority of the vegetables were hidden, which is always a bonus!

I love that in under fifteen minutes my children can be sat down, enjoying a delicious meal, leaving me with a few minutes peace to sit down, put my feet up and catch the last of the sunshine.
