Review & Giveaway: Petit Fernand Labels & Personalised Products
At this time of year I’m pretty sure there are parents right across the world thinking about buying uniforms for September, preparing for that first day back and, the most boring task of all, labelling every single item. I can remember when Lewis first started school and how I’d had to ask my Mum to sew in all of his labels, unable to summon the energy to tackle such an arduous task, or the ability to sew on so much as a button, let alone a name label!
Now, with all four children in school as of September, there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to be sewing on labels and so, for me there is only one option – stick on labels! And thanks to Petit Fernand they have well and truly got that covered!
Petit Fernand have the most fantastic range of products designed to label all items ready for when the children go to school or nursery. With a huge range of stick-on and iron-on labels, as well as personalised must have items, they are not only easy for parents to use, but fun for children to use too!
The website is super easy to use – you simply choose your labels (the value packs are great for little ones starting school!) and then follow the easy steps to personalise your labels. It was really lovely to do this with each of the children, allowing them to choose the colour of the labels, the text, the font style and, their favourite part, the picture icon for them to recognise their items long before they can even recognise their name. It came as no surprise when Harry chose a dinosaur!!
The labels arrive in handy little books to keep safe throughout the school year, and have full instructions at the front on how to apply the labels to get the best use from them. The main thing to remember is to attach the stick on labels to the washing instruction tag or brand label.
At the back of the book are a selection of really cute stickers that are great for decorating school lunch boxes, bags or books. With my youngest three absolutely obsessed with stickers of any kind, these were a huge hit in our house!
We also ordered personalised water bottles for the children to take to school and, although Petit Fernand do labels for regular water bottles, I love that these come with their names already printed on. At £22 the water bottles are a little more expensive than I would usually pay and yet made from stainless steel with an anti leak cap, they are amazing quality! Again these can be fully personalised with design and colours, and Eva was over the moon with this one!
I think the Petit Fernand range is perfect for both parents and children and one I would definitely recommend to others. It will certainly save me a lot of time come September when I’m labelling ten thousand items of school uniform at the last minute, and hopefully will save me a fortune on replacing lost items throughout the year!
