Memories of growing up – Giveaway!

Ever since he was small, Harry has been dinosaur mad and now, at four years old, he can name every dinosaur out there, tell you about each Jurassic Park film word for word, and literally has not stopped asking when we will see the new Jurassic World movie! When Imaginext from Fisher-Price offered to send us…
As a family there is nothing we love more at this time of year than a movie night, especially when it involves lots of yummy treats and a new DVD for us all to enjoy. When Team Titans sent us everything we need for a family movie night in to celebrate the Team Titans GO!…
Over the years we’ve had some amazing book boxed sets from Books2Door, from the Roald Dahl collection to early readers with Biff and Chip. I am always amazed at how easy it is to place an order, receive a huge discount on the recommend retail prices, and have the books arrive at my door in…
Considering we have enjoyed countless UK holidays over the years, it’s surprising that The Channel Islands have never been on our radar. Although I was aware of them, I knew very little about them as islands and even less about them as a holiday destination. So when we were offered the opportunity to visit Jersey…
If you are local to Blackpool and looking for something to do this weekend, then look no further! It gives me great pleasure to introduce the NAFAS Festive Flower & Food Show, and I for one can’t wait to go! Flower arranging at its best in a cross-pollination between floristry and contemporary art – forget…
Whenever I think of soap there is just one brand that comes to mind – Bronnley. With an extravagant range of triple-milled soaps, enriched with Almond Oil and Shea Butter for a rich moisturising experience, every soap is highly fragranced with perfumes from their stunning collections, it’s really no surprise they have been making the…
Aw this is such a nice idea and it would make a beautiful keepsake! I’ve certainly entered! X
Good luck! xx
This idea is so cool because none of us really remember all of our childhood!
Definitely, and it’s so handy to have all of the pre-made folders too, such a good idea!
This seems like a great idea. I can definitely relate to the height chart – my parents always made me stand there while they drew a line on the wall to mark how much I grew (or in my case, didn’t grow lol). This memory stick is a great idea in this time of technology and innovation!
Its great idea to store memories as nothing else can be captured except memories.
Hope to get you giveaway 😉
Good luck! xx
This is splendid! Best way in today’s day and time to keep track of all those precious moments 🙂
I agree, Ive already been filing mine! xx
Such a lovely idea for keeping memories safe (so you don’t have to destroy the house to take them with you when you move!). I also blog to keep my memories fresh, though for me it’s stories of my travels x
Hahah yes! Way easier than dismantling your door frames! xx
This sounds so lovely. I like how it comes with ideas for organisation 🙂 x
Me too! I am so unorganised! xx
awwww that’s lovely idea for keeping memories I don’t even remember my childhood that much lol
Im the same. I love that my children will have so many memories! xx
What a lovely idea, lets hope memory sticks don’t go defunct in a few years like other storage methods have 🙂
I know!! I have so many video tapes that I have no way of playing! xx
I don’t know what I would do without my memory sticks, I store all our family pictures on them and nicely categorised so we preserve the memories and can carry them with us
I never thought of doing it before, they are all on the laptop but all over the place! xx
This is a lovely gift idea. I will be doing this for the kiddies.
Isnt it just! I love the idea! xx
I have so many happy memories of my childhood and have tried to recreate some of them with my own children

That sounds like a really lovely idea. It’s nice you can add a personal message to give little ones something to look back on as they get older.
It’s a great idea, I’d have loved this as a gift! xx
That was one of the main reasons we started blogging too! Recording memories is a great present and this stick is such a fantastic idea to give to loved ones.
It’s lovely to have this record of our lives when the children are young! Good luck! xx
Ahh what a great giveaway! LOVE the tall tape idea – we currently rent and so it would be perfect for us. Fingers crossed for the memory stick though.
I love the website Holly, they have some gorgeous little gifts. The talltape is such a fab idea, no more taking doorframes from house to house, hehe! Good luck! xx
What an awesome idea. This will make a really good gift too! Memories are always worth recording.
I would love to receive this for a gift! xx
A kindred spirit. I’ve said too that I blog so one day my children (and now grandchildren) will be able to look back and know a bit more about me. The things I thought about and the people in my life. Also, there will be family recipes, because so many good stories are told (and retold) around the dinner table. Love the idea of a memory stick too .. what a wonderful gift to give to friends and family
Yes! I think our blogs will be an invaluable part of our legacy, hopefully for many generations to come to read and learn a little more about their Mum, their Grandma, or their Great Grandma! xx
I love this memory stick. What a cute and clever idea! Thanks for the great giveaway 🙂
Good luck! xx
This is such a lovely idea hun! This is also one of the reasons I started blogging 🙂

Me too, it’s a lovely gift! xx
I have an 11 month old (rainbow baby) Hannah and this would be a fantastically handy gadget for us. I must have at least 1000 photos of her already & have even had to make her own (very private) Instagram page just to store them and leave some memory on my phone lol.
Fingers crossed to win so I can keep making memories for her to look back on and enjoy 🙂
Oh and my own favourite childhood memories are of my grandmas metal biscuit tin box that all her old family photos where kept in. I loved to look at them with her and listen to all her stories of our family and the journeys they took through life. Gifts and toys are fun but memories like that are priceless
Seeing my baby girl for the very first time xxx

My memory is pretty hit and miss so I’m all for things like this that can remind me of special moments and special times. I find that certain smells and times of the day…like early evening in summertime trigger my favourite memories – like playing with my brothers in nanny and grandads garden waiting for mum and dad to come to collect us. x

not sure, days out I think. We used to go to the beach for a treat a few times a year in dad’s ‘new’ car which was ancient! How odd isn’t it that you often remember the awful things that happen but forget the really good times when you are really little?
Good luck! xx
