Smyths Toys Superstores 2018 Catalogue OUT NOW!!
I don’t know about you but, once summer is over and the children are back in school, it feels as though we are on the home straight to Christmas and to say my kids get excited is an understatement!
Each year without fail, my children are desperate to get their hands on the Smyths Toys Superstores catalogue so they can start circling all of the many, many toys to go on their Christmas wish lists. And I can remember doing the same at that age, working my way through with a coloured felt tip pen, circling anything and everything, being overwhelmed with all of the amazing new toys out for that year.

With the new catalogue out today, the children have each enjoyed choosing one item as their main present this year. And although that will no doubt change in the weeks leading up to Christmas (if not the day before….), right now they are adamant that, after trailing through 328 pages of toys, there is only one present they want to find under the tree on Christmas morning.
Our Generation Dream Bunk Beds
Eva has chosen the Our Generation Dream Bunk Beds as her favourite gift this year. She has been obsessed with Our Generation for the last couple of years, and I totally see why. They are the most beautiful dolls which come with a whole range of accessories, outfits, play sets and vehicles, and every detail is so well thought out and just perfect for children to play with.

Paw Patrol Ultimate Fire Truck
It’s safe to say that Harry is a HUGE Paw Patrol fan and has been since he was very small. Whilst he has many of the Paw Patrol vehicles, and a whole host of characters, as soon as he saw the Ultimate Fire Truck, I knew that his mind was made up about what to ask for this year!
With an extendable ladder, flashing lights and sounds, I can see Harry having so much fun with this! There are water cannons, a Mini Fire Cart, a little fire hose and an extendable working claw arm, and for Paw Patrol fans I think this is going to be such a popular choice this Christmas!
Annabelle Bike
And for Megan, she has chosen a new 16 inch Annabelle Bike which she has been desperate for all year long. In her favourite colours – pink and purple – she loves that it has a little rear carrier for her favourite doll or teddy, as well as removable stabilisers so she can show off how well she has learned to ride a bike this year.

I love that the bike fits in most cars, a real must when we are driving to a park where the children can ride their bikes away from the traffic. Megan also loves that the bike is called Annabelle, the name of her favourite doll!
So now the children’s Christmas lists are started, I suppose there is only thing left for me to do – start saving, and get shopping! I love that I can browse the Smyths catalogue in my own time, order on line, and have the children’s gifts delivered at home and stored away from peeping eyes. As much as I love Christmas Day, choosing out the children’s gifts and knowing how happy they will be, is one of my favourite things about Christmas!
You can order your free Smyths catalogue HERE or pick up in store. What’s on your child’s Christmas list this year?

these are really great choices 🙂 I’m sure your children will love these choices. I’ve got a Smyth’s shop down the road from me; I’ve always found lovely gifts for my nieces. love Bec
My two girls are obsessed with Paw patrol! That bed is gorgeous too.
My daughter saw the catekigue advertsied on TV which she thinks is awesome. It’s a shame that we don’t have one on Exeter x
My boy is obsessed with Paw Patrol too! They must have got the right formula as Luke was a fan from a really young age, just like your Harry, and he still loves them. Rocky is his favourite pup! The bike looks soooo cute! I can totally picture Megan cruising along on that!
Once summer is over, all I think of is Christmas too! The kids are really excited about Christmas this year. Shopping for gifts here already.
I cant wait. My sons birthday in mid November so I like to get that out of the way before buying his Christmas presents to see what he gets from family. We have a smyths round the corner so will be visiting a lot over the next few months I can imagine.
Oh I’ve just ordered mine, it’ll keep the kids busy for a while when it arrives. I love planning for Christmas. Such a wonderful time x
my daughter loves looking through toy catalogues too, with her birthday and then Christmas coming up, it can get expensive so good to look out for special offers around.
Ooooo this catalogue sounds amazing! Can’t wait to grab a copy and ear-mark my favourite toys!
My kids have been through it with a fine tooth comb already – I have had to decline Isaac’s request of the Lego Death Star
