I think this is such a good idea by Aviva to give new parents 12 months cover whilst they assess their life insurance needs and work out what level of coverage is best for themselves and their families. Having children is hard enough and, when you’re sleep deprived and knee deep in nappies, having Aviva offer a helping hand is exactly what you need!

So true. No parent ever wants to think about insuring their babies. But its a real necessity because burials have gotten so expensive. And like all other insurances you purchase it is better done, put on auto pay, filed away and forgotten about– until needed.

I was just thinking about getting life insurance the other day. I have a toddler and another child on the way and it scares me to death to think of them without me or their papa! It is very scary to think about leaving my toddler so soon but these days it is a real possibility. Life insurance is super important for her and whomever her future care giver would be.

Yea, life insurance is really important for your children. Like someone mentioned above, funerals are stupidly expensive, especially here in the States. $15,000 is barely enough to cover it :(. I like that Aviva gives you a stop-gap coverage essentially while you assess your options.

After splitting with my hubby last year this is one thing I knew I needed to sort.
That is a cool policy! My husband and I got life insurance before we got married so we didn’t have the same thought process about being afraid. We are a little scared now since the kids are here but then, getting those policies was just something we had to do to be prepared. Life insurance is important so I am glad this helps people get an opportunity to sort that out!
One thing most parents do to show their love to their kids is to get them a life insurance cover too. Such usually come in so handy when they can’t provide for emergencies especially. And that picture is so beautiful!

God forbid anything ever happen to a parent when a child is young, but a lot of people don’t get life insurance because they’re young. I wonder if this is available to young parents in the USA as well!
It’s really essential to get insurance. I don’t have kids yet but I have two insurances, and I made my parents as my dependents. We are not certain about the future but we have to make sure that our family member will be in a good condition just in case anything bad happens.
