When we first moved into out home we had big promises to put our own stamp on it and yet four years later many of our walls are still plain and the prints we planned to buy never transpired. So when Desenio offered to send us some prints it was the perfect opportunity to brighten up our kitchen.
For those who haven’t heard of Desenio, they are passionate about interiors and specifically Scandinavian design. Their business idea is simple, that stylish wall art should be affordable to everyone, and they make sure that it is. With an online presence in 33 countries you can find Scandinavia’s widest range of posters along with frames, hangers, picture ledges and clips.
On initially browsing the website I was struck by just how many amazing prints they have on offer, all perfectly categorised for ease of use, meaning I could go straight to the kitchen section to choose suitable prints in a variety of sizes. Although finding the prints was easy, choosing only a few of them was incredibly hard!
Desenio makes life easier in that once you have chosen your prints it immediately shows you the frames available, in a range of colours, for you to add to your basket. And with delivery in just 3-7 days, it wasn’t long before they arrived at my door!
I love how well packed everything was, from the perfectly wrapped frames to the art work kept pristine inside a solid cardboard tube, and it was so easy to put my prints into the frames and prepare to hang them. The hardest part for me, and my Dad who I had roped in to help, was to work out where to put the nails in the wall to have my prints all evenly spaced!
With our kitchen done in black gloss and white, I knew that I wanted my prints to keep in with that theme but adding in a subtle amount of colour. For that reason I chose the Herbs Green, Green Pineapple, Dancing and But First Coffee posters, all with the black frames.
I am so pleased with the way that our prints go together, really brightening up a plain wall and adding a little colour to our monochrome kitchen. It’s amazing how wall art can make such a difference to a home and it’s made me more determined to go through each room and choose the perfect wall art for each of them.
Desenio have offered my readers 25% off posters* bought between the 6th – 8th March using code “fivelittledoves” at the check-out. *Except for handpicked/collaboration posters and frame.
