Surviving half term with Berocca

As much as I love the school holidays, as a busy Mum of four active children I have to admit that I find them exhausting!! We have always been a family who likes to be outdoors, discovering new places and sharing new adventures but living with chronic illness, and even more so since I found myself hurtling towards forty, I do sometimes struggle to find the energy to keep up with the children!

Unlike most Mums I know who survive on caffeine, due to an allergy I am unable to drink tea or coffee which means I need to find my energy boosts elsewhere. Thankfully I have been taking a daily Berocca tablet, the UK’s number one energy vitamin, which allows me to feel my best and really make the most of each day.

Packed full of eight energising B vitamins, including B1 and B2 plus other essential nutrients to help support energy release and mental performance, Berocca works with your body to release your natural energy, something I am so grateful for during these darker mornings when getting out of bed can be a real struggle!

Taking Berocca has become a natural part of my morning routine and I love how making this one small change can lead to an improvement in my energy levels. Berocca is not a treatment, and is designed to support a healthy balanced diet, but I’ve noticed that I’m not stealing the kids chocolate bars by mid morning, or craving a power nap by lunch time!

My favourite thing about Berocca is simply that it helps me to feel more like myself but on a really good day. Chronic illness impacts me in so many ways and yet I refuse to let it impact on my time with the children. Any help to manage my fatigue is a huge step forward and has made me feel far more positive, and excited, at the prospect of school holidays!

Also hurtling towards 40 here and I don’t drink any caffeinated drinks mostly because I have never liked them, so I know what you mean about needing to find energy elsewhere! We always have a stash of Berocca in our house – it’s fab for energy levels. I love the way the tablets fizz. X

It’s hard isn’t it, especially when the kids seem to have boundless energy!! I used to take Berocca for hangovers, how times have changed!! xx

I use to take berocca all the time but had completely forgotten about it. Perhaps it would help me survive the hellish commute into London now!

A day without ice coffee? I dunno if I could handle that! Okay,I can and do but I wanted to overact for a second.
Are you allergic to caffeine? It has to something else because the chocolate bars have some caffeine inside them.
But Berocca sounds interesting,we don’t have it here.

Chocolate has only small amounts of caffeine in thank god, I’m not sure I could cut that out too! But yes, caffeine causes my heart rate to increase to dangerous levels and my blood pressure plummet, I’ve ended up in hospital on countless occasions due to caffeine so I am super careful these days! Berocca is working for me right now! xx

I’ve seen these about and wondered if they would provide energy as being a new mum myself I know how much they have you running around. It sounds like they really do help as like you say you are no longer crashing for a power nap in the day!

I usually drink coffee in the mornings and during the day to keep awake and feel that energy buzz but sometimes I feel that it does not work, so I will try this.
