Furnishing our garden for Summer with Desser
When we moved into our house, five years ago, our priority was very much on the interior of our home. Until last year our lawn was a mud bath and yet last Summer we made the decision to lay artificial grass and it was by far the best thing we ever did. Our plans for this Summer are currently underway to redesign our patio area so that we can enjoy lounging in the garden and, thanks to Desser, we are half way there!

Obviously our dining set will soon take pride of place on our patio but, for now, whilst the last of the patio is replaced, it fits perfectly on the lawn offering both shade and sunshine at various points throughout the day. The Winchester Lavastone Dining Set has so many amazing features –

The rattan frames are both stylish and robust and designed in a way to really support your posture when dining or relaxing. I love the high backs and the arm rest, and the removable showerproof fabric cushions are so comfortable to sit back on!
Obviously living in the UK, even on the hottest days we are never too far from a rain shower, so the showerproof fabrics mean there is no mad panic to whip all the cushions off the chairs should that happen, which is a real bonus! With the frames perfectly fine to keep outside all year round, it makes for a really low maintenance dining set which should last for years to come. I also love how family friendly the fabrics are with spills easily mopped up and frames easily wiped down.
The matching lavastone table is such a good size and easily seats the six of us with the footstools doubling up as seats for the children. Throughout the summer we spend most of our time outdoors in the garden, particularly during mealtimes, and I think having this dining set is going to make such a huge difference to us this year.
My favourite thing about the Winchester Lavastone Dining Set is how versatile it is. Although we can use it as a dining set, we can also use each individual piece around our garden should we wish to do so. For now, whilst our patio is unfinished, we have found that the three seater makes the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the sun early in the morning when the rest of our garden is still covered by shade.
The individual armchairs, although robust, can easily be moved around the garden and patio to position as and where you need them.
And the footstools can either be used to put your feet up to sit back and relax, or used as extra seats to the dining table.
For now our dining set is nicely shaded by the evening on the grass but when the set goes onto the patio we will need a parasol to keep the children protected from the sunshine. That said, the actual fabric is UV resistant so can be left in the sunshine with no concerns!

These are great tips! I love growing my own veggies although I am not good at keeping plants alive and I used to have a garden but now i miss this in current year.
