Christmas Stocking On a Budget from Toys For a Pound

When it comes to the children’s Christmas stockings I find they look forward to that just as much as they do their big presents! I remember being the same as a child and wondering what would be buried deep in the toe of my stocking (usually chocolate coins and socks!) and would always leave it right until the end which my children now do too!

With four children Christmas can soon add up and, although I budget for their main presents, I often over look their stockings. This year I’ve been shopping at Toys for a pound where I can budget ten presents per stocking and create something really lovely for them on a real budget!

Using the toy generator you can even select who the gifts are for, their age, and personality, and a full list of toys are suggested for you to choose from. I thought I would share with you what’s in the girls stockings this year for anyone wanting inspiration, each costing just £1!!

1. Create Your Own Sand Art Bottle.

The box itself comes with five bags of coloured sand, as well as the signature sand art bottle and a funnel to make your very own sand art.

2. Unicorn Egg

These little unicorn pony eggs come in a range of designs and are just the kind of surprise toys my kids love!

3. Paint your own sun catcher

Available in either a mermaid or a unicorn design, these sun catcher kits are such a lovely little stocking filler.

4. Make your own plush unicorn

I can’t believe that this little kit is only £1! My girls are going to adore making these!

5. Beauty and the Beast pencil case

I remember every year I would get a new pencil case for christmas and love doing the same for the girls. This is one of our favourite movies!

6. Disney Frozen 2 Hairbrush & Mirror

With Frozen 2 out soon I thought these were a lovely addition to their stockings! They are perfect for swimming and when we travel!

7. Num Noms Top Trumps Cards

Top Trumps always featured heavily in our Christmas games and I love that they are still going! The girls will love playing this together!

8. Magic Slinky Spring

Did anyone else always look forward to getting one of these in their stockings? We would send ours from the top of the stairs to the bottom and it never grew old!

9. Magic Cube

You can’t beat the old classics and I think the kids are at an age where they finally have the patience to solve this cube!

10. Dinosaur Poo Sticky Putty

Because every stocking needs something silly to make them smile….even if my carpets are at risk!!

So there you have it, ten amazing stocking fillers at just £1 each and so many more to choose from. I can see how you could do your entire Christmas shop for the kids on Toys for a pound and have an amazing Christmas on a real budget!

What do you put in your Christmas stocking?
