A good nights sleep with Noa & Nani
It often surprises people when I tell them that Harry slept in our bedroom until he was three years old. It was certainly never our intention and yet with plenty of room for his cot, and with him still waking several times in the night for the first year, it was the easy option to keep him close. In some ways, with him being the baby of the family, I admit I was in no rush to have him leave us, and after three long years when we finally decided to give him his own space, it was a sad day all round.
It took a further year until we got round to decorating his bedroom, caught up with a million and one jobs and not enough time, but finally before the summer we decorated his bedroom and allowed Harry to choose a new bed, and it came as no surprise when he told us that he wanted something “high up and blue”.
Thanks to Noa & Nani he got exactly that with this cabin bed with a tent and tunnel in a brilliant blue to fit in with his Paw Patrol themed decor. I had been worried about whether it would fit given his room is quite narrow but very long, but it turned out it was the most perfect fit!
The bed was easy to assemble, thanks to my Dad, and so sturdy. My Dad even commented that it was refreshing for every hole to be perfectly drilled and everything labelled so clearly. When Harry came home from nursery he couldn’t wait to take a look and was over the moon to have, not only a new bed but, his very own playhouse!
The cabin bed is constructed from solid pine and available in three wood finishes – solid white, whitewashed pine and natural pine. I love that the ladder can be built to the right or the left making it a really versatile bed for all bedroom spaces.
Harry was super excited to discover a tunnel made from brilliant blue fabric and light weight poles which fits over the mattress to create a cosy little hideaway. Even at 4pm in the afternoon he was desperate to get into bed, something that was nothing short of a miracle!
The fabric is such a brilliant coloured blue which is perfect for fitting in with a bright bedroom decor. It also has several clear windows in the fabric which are perfect for letting in some light and, of course, make the perfect portholes, or spaceship look out windows for whatever game Harry is inventing!
My favourite part was the under bed tent area which is a great sized space for Harry to play and enjoy a whole world of imaginative play. It also doubles up as a fantastic storage area to store toys and hide clutter. Harry has quite a stuffed toy collection and I love that they all now have a place!
Priced at just £229 for the cabin bed with tent and tunnel, it is a really affordable and good quality bed with huge versatility. As Harry grows the tunnel and tent can easily be removed to expose the stylish white frame and I think he will get a huge amount of use from it over the years.
For those wanting something a little different Noa & Nani have a huge range of fantastic beds and furniture too; I think it’s safe to say that both Harry and I recommend them!
