However, just one week after receiving the placenta cell treatment, all patients had survived and three of them had almost been fully weaned from their ventilators. The initial results from these patients show that using cells from the placenta may be a safe and effective treatment for even some of the most severe cases of COVID-19.

  1. Thanks for helping me understand that regenerative medicine focuses on repairing damaged tissue. I first heard about it on TV and thought that it can be used for my father’s feet injury. Maybe we should consult an expert and see if this approach would help him heal and recover faster.
