I have always been a big fan of displaying photographs in our home, infact I’ve been that way my whole life pinning photograph collages to my notice board in my bedroom as a child, or lovingly creating photo albums after every holiday we ever went on. At one time I went through a stage of wanting all of my photos made into canvas’s, or framed and placed on every available surface, and yet as the years have passed and the children have grown, I’ve soon realised that if I continued this way forever there would be no room for anything else in our home!!
So when I was introduced to Nixplay Seed, a digital photo frame which displays your photos straight from your phone, it seemed like the perfect solution. Not only does it mean I can enjoy all of my favourite photos in a 10 inch digital display, but I can switch them up to include our latest shots at just the click of a button, and even better, share them from anywhere at all in the world!
As a family we love to travel and whilst that’s great for us, living in the moment, my Mum and Dad are glued to their phones waiting for me to send over photos of our day so they can share in the children’s excitement at building the biggest sandcastle on the beach that day, or videos of the children busting their best moves at the evening disco. So the fact I can send our photos directly to my parents Nixplay Seed is actually an amazing way for us to keep them updated and in return, when my parents travel they can do the same for us! Amazing!
The frame itself is super easy to set up, coming with a regular plug, a travel plug, the connector cable, remote control, and the digital 10.1 inch frame. With easy to follow instructions it was a case of plugging it in and following the easy steps on the screen!
Not being the most technically minded, this was great for me as often the minute things get complicated they go back in the box and shoved to the back of a cupboard!
Nixplay have just launched their new Nixplay Mobile App which was super easy to download via the App Store and provides faster photo optimisation and 15 second video for both ioS and android users. It also meant I could pair my phone with the frame ready to transfer my photos.
The great thing about Nixplay is that you can then create an album, give it a name, add your photos and videos, and even some captions, and then send it over to the frame instantly. Having recently visited the Isle of Man I was keen to share our photographs and so set up an album especially for this.
As you transfer the photos it pings up on the screen that you have new photographs, so if we were sending these over to my parents they would instantly see that they had new photographs of the children which would be really lovely for them I’m sure.
I loved how vibrant the display is, showing all of our photos in full colour and actually, with Fathers Day coming up I can’t think of anything more lovely than a Nixplay Seed for a special father figure in your life.
I am so pleased with our Nixplay Seed frame and will be enjoying using this in our home to share all of our favourite moments. Even better, during our holiday to Italy next week I can send over all of our magical memories so that when we return home, filled with the holiday blues, we will have them right here waiting for us.
