My Aunty Viv, She married for love, to a man who was another race (feels shocking to write that now!!) in the early 70’s, when prejudisim was so rife. Her and my Uncle, helped to integrate Tetsudo a martial arts form into the uk. My aunty became the first and only Grand Master Dan female black belt. The helped the community so much, raising money for local charities and autism. Their home was a place of love, learning and laughter, and I have such fond memories of being there. She was a woman of beauty of love, and when she died of cancer, over 500 people came to her funeral.
