  1. Trivial Pursuit. I like general knowledge, so games with questions like Pointless and Trivial Pursuit are good for me.

  2. Best gane we ever played was called Bomb. Basically a word association game, set against a countdown timer that you pass around.

  3. It was Leo’s birthday in January and we bought him a Giggle Wiggle game. He absolutely loves it. As the music plays and the caterpillar wiggles, Leo dances along with it. My phone is now full of gorgeous videos of him playing this game and wiggling when he is waiting for his turn.

  4. My children are still small so at the moment we are enjoying playing Hungry Hippos and Pop Up Pirate

  5. We like boggle as it’s small and contained so you can travel with it, you can play for 2 minutes or 2 hours, you can make slightly different rules for different ages to level up the playing field and it reaches them how to spell small words, how to spot words, how to join letters etc

  6. We love playing Yahtzee – it teaches the kids about numbers and helps them with maths xx

  7. Our favourite game without the kids is Sequence and our favourite game with the kids is dinosaur operation!

  8. We are massive board games fans! At the moment we love playing exploding kittens with the kids! Love to have some more to encourage them to play more board games!

  9. We like to play Hotel Tycoon – so much fun building up the little resort as you play

  10. My family loves Monopoly Empire, even my son-in-law who has finally won a game…it’s only taken him about 6 years hahaha
