With January almost at an end and February in sight, we are looking forward to Valentines Day and this year, with nothing else to pass our days, we are hoping to make a celebration of it at home together. Although Gaz and I have never really celebrated Valentines Day as such (we have never had a child-free Valentines for a start!), now the children are that little bit older they love to join in and for them, Valentines is another excuse to eat chocolate – not that they need one!

My partner Steve. He works from home and is used to having the house to himself until Covid hit. Now he has no time to himself in the house. I work from home most days and our son is at home from school doing online learning. When I have to go into the office he does the helping with home schooling/childcare. He cooks tea every day (usually we’d eat out a few times a month so he’d get a break), does lunch everyday for himself and Samuel and me when I’m at home.
