** WIN ** A Fitbit Versa 2 worth £199

I’m not a fan of New Years Resolutions but with me turning 40 this month I am wanting to make a real effort to get as healthy as possible. Last year I promised myself that I would make small changes to try and be more active and one of the best things I ever did was to buy a Fitbit. When it comes to the gym I’m very lazy (and by that I mean I don’t go) but as a busy Mum I realised that with a little motivation, I could easily do 10,000 steps a day often without realising it.

I found that with every time I hit my target, I was pushing myself to raise the bar, adding a few more steps, taking the scenic route on the way to the shops, or taking the stairs instead of the lift, and I definitely felt an improvement to my overall fitness.

More than that, I was able to monitor my sleep and, as a long suffering insomniac, it was really interesting to see patterns in lack of sleep or waking each night. Connected to an app on my phone I could visibly see how much sleep I was getting, when I needed to rest up more in the day, and when I could push myself to do that little bit more.

The Fitbit also uses PurePulse technology to measure your heart rate all day, whether resting or exercising, which can help you track calorie burn, optimise the intensity of your workouts and track overall health and fitness. It was reassuring to see my resting heart rate was slowly lowering the more exercise I did, and also helped me to avoid doing too much fat burning cardio at a time I have been trying to maintain a healthy weight.

I have loved using my Fitbit and definitely recommend one to anyone wanting to improve their overall fitness. For that reason we are giving away one Fitbit Versa 2 worth £199. With so many amazing new features such as Amazon Alexa built-in, a 6+ day battery life, plus controlling Spotify from your wrist and adding Deezer playlists whilst you work out, it has everything you need to motivate you, monitor your fitness and look great at the same time!
