As many of you know, we’ve struggled with Harry’s skin for as long as I can remember. With severe eczema since a very young age, he’s spent his life back and forth to dermatology, enduring one round of antibiotics after another for infected skin, constant steroid creams and wet wraps, and countless hours spent researching what could possibly be the cause behind it. Over the last few weeks we seem to have reached a point where his skin has settled and he is able to cope with regular skin care products for the time being, the main one being Mustela.
Mustela is a big deal in the children’s skincare category, in particular in Europe. Unlike many skincare brands we have tried, the amazing thing about Mustela is that 95% of the ingredients are entirely natural. With no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates or chlorophenesin, the active ingredient in most of the Mustela products is Avocado Perseose which works in perfect harmony with the most fragile skin types. And for me, that’s exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to my child’s skin.
With over 60 years experience, Mustela has something for everyone, from tiny babies, to older children, as well as new and expectant mothers. There are products specifically designed for each skin type so the chances of finding something which works for you and your child are really promising. We have been using a mixture of products on Harry’s skin and have really noticed the difference.

My little one has a similar story to Harry’s. It would be wonderful to try this skincare range, especially as it uses mainly natural ingredients. I found double rinsing all my daughters clothing and reducing the amount of clothes detergent in her wash has helped tame her eczema. It might be worth a try for anyone suffering too.
