Twisty Petz Review – Twistable, Wearable, Fashionable!

Earlier this year the girls discovered Twisty Petz from Spinmaster, which are twistable, wearable, fashionable pets that transform into adorable bracelets and necklaces. I knew as soon as I saw them that the girls would go crazy for them, and when we were sent for review, the excited squeals of delight spoke volumes!

The great thing about Twisty Petz is that they are both a toy and an accessory, transforming with just a few simple twists that even Harry can do at four. With over 70 to collect they come in single packs, packs of 3 or Twisty Petz babies which come with little extras such as dummies, bottles, and an adorable gem shaped jewellery case. There are also rare Twisty Petz that the girls are desperate to find!

As with all collectibles, my girls love that each pet belongs to a different collection which they can add to over time. With metallic Twisty Petz, fuzzy, rainbow, enchanted gems, pastel and pearl, they are all equally appealing to children and, although all animals are super cute, I think it comes as no surprise that the girls favourite was the unicorn!

Transforming them into a bracelet or necklace couldn’t be easier, you simply push the tail of the pet into the small hole into the head to create a stretchy, wearable bracelet. The more Twisty Petz you have, the more you can join together to create one long necklace!

I’ll be honest, when I saw the Twisty Petz I assumed they would be more suited to the girls, and yet Harry proved me wrong there! He loved the idea of turning a toy into a bracelet, and has been wearing his Piñata Puppy bracelet ever since!

That said, the majority of the Twisty Petz are in shades pinks and purples and Harry did say he was a little disappointed there are none in his favourite colour red.

I’m really impressed with Twisty Petz, mostly at how robust they are! Despite the fact they have been twisted repeatedly they are still going strong! The only thing I notice is that the elastic does loosen over time so the pets are a little floppier than they were originally.

I can see these being a real favourite with the children, and they are already planning which Twisty Petz to add to their collection with. Twisty Petz are priced at £5 for a single pack, £13 for a 3 pack, and £10 for the Twisty Petz babies. They are available to buy from all large toy stores such as the The Entertainer.

We are offering one lucky winner the chance to win a Twisty Petz single pack simply by entering via the link below. Good luck!
