* WIN * 6 month wine subscription worth £249.95

After the success of our previous giveaway, and the fact Valentines Day is just around the corner, I am super excited to announce that we have another amazing prize for one lucky reader. For those who love wine, and I’m sure there are many, you can have it delivered to your home each week which is not only convenient, but a really good way to try new wines from independent family run vineyards, and discover new favourites.

Savage Vines have some amazing gift subscriptions offering a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription with either 2, 3 or 6 bottles delivered per month. You can choose whether you would like purely red or white, or a mix of both, as well as the month you’d like the subscription to start.

Each subscription wine box comes with a wine map to show you where the wines are from, tasting notes including advice on food pairing, and a podcast to talk you through each wine. I think it’s such an interesting subscription for wine buffs, or just those wanting to learn a little more and try wines from outside their supermarket staples.

We are offering one lucky winner a 6 month wine subscription of 3 bottles delivered per month worth £249.95 simply by entering via the link below. One winner will be chosen at random and notified via email at close of giveaway on 27th February. Good luck!

  1. Picking a favourite wine would be like picking a favourite child ! We indulge in a red on a Friday normally Rioja or merlot. A chilled glass of rose in the summer and prosecco when catching up with my besties.

  2. Until recently I enjoy the pinot grigio but lately I have taken to the sauvignon blanc as I have found it less sweet than the pinot.

  4. Another sweet tooth here: the best I’ve ever tried is Alan Clark’s favourite, Sauternes Château d’Yquem. Although I’ve also had some damn good Tokaji Aszú.

  5. I love Blason du Rhône Châteauneuf-du-Pape but it’s quite pricey at £25 a bottle so I only buy a bottle over Christmas and my birthday, usually it’s 19 crimes from Tesco 🙂

  6. I’ve always been a red wine woman, but the last few months I can’t really drink it (I blame the menopause), so I’ve very recently started drinking rose and white wine, but I haven’t tried enough to have a favourite yet.

  7. My favourite wine (which I have only had once many years ago) – it was ice wine and was a bottle of the family reserve which had been given to a neighbour who had worked for them. It was wonderfully sweet! More realistically I like a sweet ordinary white wine or rose.

  8. I love sparkling wines – Moët champagne, Prosecco, cava. Next best is white wines – I tend to buy Hardy’s Crest Chardonnay especially when it’s on offer! 🥂🍾
