HATCHIMALS COLLEGGTIBLES SEASON 3 ** WIN **

I’ve said it before but when it comes to Hatchimals, my children are absolutely obsessed. I’ll be honest, I would have thought the novelty might have worn off by now but they still get every bit as excited with each new egg as they did with the last.

We were recently sent a selection of CollEGGtibles from the Season 3 Collection from Spinmaster and the children couldn’t wait to open them. We received a blind bag, a four pack, a two pack with nest, and a bumper box of 12 eggs.

For those who have missed out on the Hatchimals craze, CollEGGtibles are small collectible figures that come inside little eggs with a purple heart. The idea is to rub the purple heart until it turns pink and then you can gently crack open the egg and discover which CollEGGtible is inside.

The thing I love about Hatchimals CollEGGtibles is that they are a great toy for all budgets. With blind bags perfect for a pocket money treat, and larger sets great to save up for special occasions, you can easily build a collection in your own time, and budget.

With over 100 to collect, the best thing about CollEGGtibles for my children is collecting all of their favourite characters and ticking them off on the collectors checklist included within each pack.

This latest season of CollEGGtibles is, in my opinion, by far the best with 28 pairs of best friends, 20 sets of twins, 3 different squads and each with six limited edition Hatchimals CollEGGtibles. Finding a limited edition Hatchimals CollEGGtibles is literally the most exciting thing ever when you’re 4, 5 and 6!

Each character is a hybrid of various animals and mythical beings, and all with different colours, patterns and finishes. My children particular love the ones with tiny silver wings!

Whilst for my girls the fun is all in discovering who is inside and playing with the characters afterwards, for Harry he is all about the hatching process and he takes it very seriously!

Obviously the purple heart changes to pink with heat caused by rubbing it, but for Harry he truly believes that this is magic and it’s lovely to see.

Harry was so happy to discover that he had a rare character, although this didn’t go down well with the girls who were desperate for a rare character too.

Although the girls didn’t receive any rare characters, they did discover twins which they were so happy about. The twins are super cute and have movable heads which bob up and down.

If I had to choose I would say that the twins are my favourite too. It also feels like great value for money getting two for the price of one, although there is no way of knowing which egg you have until it’s time to hatch them.

My favourite thing about the 12 egg box edition is that it makes the perfect case for storing them afterwards. Any parent will tell you that there is nothing worse than finding small toys all over the floor and so knowing that they all have place in the case, and can be transported where your child wants to take them, is a great idea in my book.

Hatchimals CollEGGtibles are available to buy from all leading toy retailers with prices starting at just £3. We definitely recommend them and I know my children have already added more to their Christmas lists this year!

We are offering one lucky winner the chance to win a 12 pack of Hatchmal CollEGGtibles simply by entering via the link below. The winner will be chosen at random and notified via email at close of giveaway on 16th December. Good luck!
