Father’s Day Gift Guide ** WIN **

Every year when Father’s Day comes round I struggle for inspiration. I think as a rule men are notoriously difficult to buy for where as when it comes to my Mum or female friends I think about the kind of gifts I would like to receive and it’s far easier to make a decision! I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that way and so I’ve taken some time to research the best Father’s Day gift ideas for 2022 and hopefully it will give you some inspiration and save you some time when it comes to shopping for Father’s Day this year.

For Dads who enjoy a drink

For Dads who enjoy a drink then look no further than www.bringmedrink.co.uk who specialise in some rather lovely names and brands that you wouldn’t necessarily find in the supermarkets. I always try and buy my Dad something he wouldn’t necessarily buy for himself, whether that’s something a little different to his usual brand or a little more expensive than he would ordinarily treat himself to.

Molly Malone Small Batch Irish Whiskey

If you’re wanting to try and Irish whiskey then this Molly Malone Small Batch Irish Whiskey is a great choice. It’s deliciously sweet, made using only the best Irish single malt & grains and married together and distilled the true Irish way. Priced at £39.91 it’s a great gift for whiskey lovers!

Timorous Beastie Scotch Whisky

I love the name of this one and the Timorous Beastie Scotch Whisky is inspired by the field mouse in one of Robert Burns’s poems which is a great story. Made exclusively in the Scottish Highlands and matured in old American Bourbon casks, this whisky has a big flavour full of sweet and spicy notes. Priced at £34.22 it comes beautifully presented and makes a lovely gift.

House of Suntory Whisky – Toki

For something completely different I recommend House of Suntory Whisky – Toki, a Japanese blend which you won’t find on the supermarket shelves! Toki is a described as a new harmony, offering both a new experience. It’s extraordinary versatile and you can enjoy it neat, on the rocks, in a highball or as part of a cocktail. Currently priced at £33.73.

Personalised Bubble Base Whisky Glass Tumbler

A great gift in addition to these whisky’s is this gorgeous personalised Bubble Base Whisky Glass Tumbler from Engravers Guild. Beautifully presented in luxury silk lined presentation boxing, the glass can be personalised with precision laser engraving to create a unique and personal gift for someone special. Priced at just £19.99 this is such an affordable but luxurious gift and the quality is impeccable.

Champagne Charles Orban, Cuveé Roger Daltrey

If champagne is more your Dads thing then Cuveé Roger Daltrey is the most luxurious gift idea and would be much loved by champagne connoisseurs. The Champagne is a collaboration between Roger Daltrey and Eminent Wines, introduced to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary, and is the official Champagne of Rock ‘n’ Roll. All of Roger’s proceeds from the sale of the Champagne head to Teen Cancer America – a charity founded by Roger Daltrey and fellow band member, lead guitarist, and songwriter Pete Townsend – and support Teenage Cancer Trust in the UK.

They currently have a great offer where if you buy a bottle of Champagne Cuveé Roger Daltrey 75cl worth £95 and a pair of bespoke, stemless champagne glasses, £30, you can get them both for £100 using code ROCKNROLLDAD22 at the checkout. You can buy this set now at Eminent Wines.

FATSO chocolate

I think when it comes to Father’s Day you can’t go wrong with chocolate and I love discovering new brands and something out of the ordinary. FATSO chocolate is made from the finest Columbian dark chocolate and is available in three moorish flavours –

FATSO ‘Morn’n Glory’ is inspired by classic breakfast flavours, including cornflakes, toast and marmalade. Packed with generously chunky pieces and made with 60% Cocoa, fathers everywhere will get an eclectic explosion of flavours from this bar!
FATSO ‘Nan’s Stash’ comes from the idea of your Nan’s favourite biscuit tin, and includes chunks of peanuts, toffee and the classic digestive biscuit. It is the richest bar too with a massive 70% cocoa!
FATSO ‘Home Run’ is based on the classic American baseball game, this bar has pieces of salted pretzel, whole almonds and honeycomb, great for those who love a mix of sweet and savoury.
Having sampled this myself I can honestly say it’s one of the best chocolates I’ve tried in a long time and with any luck if you buy this for your Dad or husband, they’ll share it with you! Bonus!

For something a little different

Mori Pyjamas

Mori is one of my favourite brands for both babies and grown ups – their fabrics are natural, soft and wash like a dream and they are my first port of call for gifts each year. They do fantastic loungewear and pyjama sets and I love these Papa Joggers made from the softest blend of modal and organic cotton, with a hint of stretch combined with the Papa T-shirt available in small to extra large. They make great loungewear or sleep sets and priced at just £14 for the T-shirt and £24.50 for the joggers they are a really lovely and affordable gift.

If ever I’m stuck for ideas for Gaz for Father’s Day or similar, Mainline Menswear always have some great ideas. Whether it’s a t-shirt or new trainers, a belt or jewellery, they have an amazing range of clothing and accessories all at really affordable prices. I think it’s lovely to treat Dad’s to something they wouldn’t ordinarily treat themselves to, I know Gaz doesn’t buy himself high end clothing as a rule but when I want to spoilt him he always loves receiving designer brands. This Billionaire Boys logo T shirt is great for something a little different, it’s smart but casual, comes with a moon camo design on the chest and an astronaut logo on the reverse. It’s amazing quality and a fantastic choice for deserving Dads! RRP £75.
