Happy Friday everyone! We have had such a hectic few weeks with half term and a few days away, and now we are desperately trying to get back into a routine….although the children have other ideas! It’s been lovely to see some sunshine at long last this week, long may it last! Anyway, on to our weekly round up!
This week we have been enjoying the loveliest children’s book, Molly’s Magic Wardrobe, and I can see this becoming a favourite for a long time to come! With a magic wand and fairy wings, as well as the most beautiful illustrations, I think Megan’s smile says it all!
This week I finally managed to watch something more than Nick Junior and sat down to watch the return of Davina McCalls show, “This time next year!”. It never fails to make me cry and this week was no different, I was sobbing just five minutes in! If you haven’t seen it then I definitely recommend it!
We heard the good news that Harry got his first choice of primary school and will be joining the girls in September! I am completely in denial about it and fooling myself into believing that he is still very much a baby….
We have been making up the bed with our amazing new Fidgetbum sheet! The Fidgetbum was designed to keep fidgety children in place during the night, and it’s been an absolute godsend for Harry! Made from a comfy, cosy, stretchy cotton fabric with a chunky zip at either end, it is designed to stretch snuggly around either a single or toddler bed mattress.
Usually in the night Harry wakes when he wriggles his way upside down or even out of bed, but since using the Fidgetbum he has woke each morning still perfectly in place and he (and we!!) have had a far better nights sleep!
Harry was over the moon with his dinosaur sweatshirt too, he is absolutely obsessed with dinosaurs of late and I’m sure you’ll agree, he is pretty roarsome!!
This week we have been enjoying Old El Paso Gluten Free Fajita’s and let me tell you, they are DELICIOUS!! I have been gluten free for almost 3 years now and although there are many foods which I miss, real fajitas are perhaps at the top of my list! Whilst many gluten free wraps are noticeably different to non GF varieties, the Old El Paso fajitas are pretty much identical to the originals! I thought I would test Gaz and the kids by not telling them they were gluten free and all of them commented on how good they were this week. I think that’s a win all round!
I have four kits to give away to four lucky winners! Simply enter via the link below, competition closes on May 20th. Good luck!
