90 Days Of Summer ** Win a huge bundle of outdoor activities **

As a parent I love the six weeks holidays and having the children at home each day but I am the first to admit that it is hard work! With four children it is a constant battle to keep them entertained but the hardest part is surviving the holidays without bankrupting myself in the process!

Germolene have done a recent survey which shows the average parent spends £650 on family trips during the six weeks holiday and over one in five feels there is a lack of free events in their local area. These statistics do not surprise me in the slightest and, for families such as mine, those costs can escalate even further. For that reason I love that Germolene have launched the 90 Days of Summer free guide as part of a Celebrating Outdoor Play Every Day Campaign.

Germolene have launched the 90 Days Of Summer free guide, as part of Celebrating Outdoor Play Every Day Campaign. Germolene believe that children of all ages need to find their freedom again – after all you’re never too old to have an outdoor adventure. Together with Emma Kenny and Megan Hine, Germolene have produced a handy guide filled with fun ideas to get outdoors this Summer.

We were also sent a fantastic hamper of goodies to accompany the guide filled with fantastic items, such as skittles, a fishing net, paints, a frisbee, a grow your own sunflower kit and much more, with the intention of using these items to create our own summer fun.

The guide is split into different sections, including holiday play, solo play and even rainy day play. Some of our favourite ideas are –

  • Hunt for hidden treasure
  • Sleep under the stars
  • Pond dipping
  • Picnic party
  • Try crabbing
  • Create sand slime
  • Create a sensory area outside
  • Old-school playground games
  • Farmyard fun
  • Pick some fruit
  • Frisbee throw-down
  • Go on an expedition
  • Strike it lucky

We are offering one lucky winner the chance to win their own hamper of goodies, as above, simply by entering via the link below. Good luck!
