Outdoor fun with Chad Valley ** WIN **
Having enjoyed being a part of the Chad Valley Play Panel over the last year, we were over the moon to be asked to join the Summer Play Panel to showcase some of Chad Valley’s amazing outdoor toys.
Argos is keen to get kids and parents outdoors and into the garden this spring and summer, something which we enjoy as a family. Even better, with the outdoor range from Chad Valley, there are so many amazing products available to keep little ones entertained.
From mud kitchens to splash pools, bouncy castles to swing sets, every item from the Chad Valley range has been designed and developed purely with play in mind. That’s the thing we love the most about Chad Valley, that they have good old fashioned values, where imagination is key. With over 400 products, they are good quality, great fun, hugely affordable and super convenient to buy – collecting in store or ordering for home delivery.
The children were so excited to receive our items, having agonised over their choices. We received the Pool set with spray turtle, the 3-1 combo play tent, and the Inflatable Funhouse with slide.
It felt like forever waiting for the first sunny day when we could play with our outdoor toys, and the children were desperate to get the Inflatable Funhouse out.
At £199.99 the Inflatable Funhouse is the most expensive outdoor toy in the Chad Valley range and at first, I’ll be honest, I thought wow that’s expensive! Within seconds of it being inflated, using the included blower with a constant air flow system, I instantly knew it was worth every penny.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, dependent on your space, the Chad Valley Inflatable Funhouse inflates in around 60 seconds, to reveal a bouncy castle area, slide, and a splash pool suitable for water or play balls.
With a climbable wall, including grab handles for little ones, and a covered canopy, the Funhouse is everything a child could ever dream of, and my three could not believe their luck!
In the warmer weather there is a fantastic sprinkler system which attaches to the hose to create a fun water feature at the top of the slide. Through the summer months I can see this being used on every sunny day without fail!
That said, when you’re purchasing such an expensive item, you don’t want to be relying on the British summertime to get your moneys worth, which is why I love the Inflatable Funhouse even more.
The children found it just as much fun without the water, jumping on the bouncy castle and diving down the slide, and seeing their happy faces and hearing their excited squeals, I just know that we are going to get our moneys worth out of this a thousand times over.
Made from strong, puncture proof, laminated polyester/pvc material, with extra strong stitching for added durability, there’s no worries about the children being a little rough, no panic that lurching from side to side might cause it to break, and in just the same way we have come to expect from Chad Valley, the quality is second to none.
I love that the Inflatable Funhouse folds flat for storage, meaning it can be packed away in the shed or garage when not in use (although seriously, my kids want this up 24/7!), or packed away in a cupboard without taking up a huge amount of room.
Having been using it now for the last few weeks, I genuinely can’t recommend the Inflatable Funhouse enough. A friend of ours was debating whether to buy one, deliberating over the price and value for money, and after just one hour of seeing the kids play on it went straight out to buy one for her own two. I think that in itself speaks volumes!
