A cosy Christmas with Morrisons

Those who read my blog often will know that when it comes to Morrisons, I’m a huge fan. We love the Nutmeg clothing range and have had the pleasure of working with them throughout the year on some lovely projects. So when they offered to send us a Christmas hamper containing everything we would need for a cosy Christmas Eve, we couldn’t wait to receive it!

I have always loved Christmas Eve, it’s one of my favourite days throughout Christmas. I think there is something to magical about the anticipation and the excitement of it all, Christmas movies on the tv, Michael Buble crooning out festive songs, drinking mulled wine and eating mince pies in our Christmas jumpers.

This year Morrisons has sent us all a Christmas jumper each, and given my love of twinning, you’ll know just how excited I am about the fact that we all match!! We will be proudly wearing out jumpers on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day….and who knows, maybe even through to the New Year!!

The jumpers are the same high quality we have come to love and expect from Nutmeg, and for the first time ever available in a range of sizes to suit all of the family.

From ages 1-14 years, and adult sizes 8-22 and S-XXL, at just £10 and £12 they are all made of supersoft fabric, have no itchy name labels (this is the bane of my life with the kids!) and even better, are covered by the 200 day “no quibble guarantee. In terms of Christmas jumpers, you just can’t beat them!

Morrisons also sent us some new mugs hot chocolate and marshmallows, along with the most amazing box of chocolate including salted butterscotch, cappuccino and 72% cocoa. It’s taking all of my will power not to open them until Sunday but I’m sure it will be worth the wait!

We also received an absolute classic from Disney, a Cinderella DVD. It’s one of our absolute favourites so I know that on Christmas Eve morning we will snuggle down to watch it together, I can’t wait!

The children were so pleased with all of their goodies but none more so than the Decorate Your Own Gingerbread House! After a disastrous attempt to make our own one year I always buy a ready made kit these days, and the Morrisons one is fantastic! With icing, jelly sweets and candy beads it’s such a lovely activity to do together.

We made ours early this year to show you how easy it is, at three, four and five the children were so pleased with their creation and I think they did a really good job!!

Thanks to Morrisons that’s our Christmas Eve sorted, and I for one can’t wait!!

** We were sent these items for the purpose of this post. All words and opinions are my own. **
