Sharing the Blog Love Showcase #50
Sharing the Blog Love Showcase

Welcome back to #SharingtheBlogLove and my weekly showcase post. We have been loving the sunshine this week but I have enjoyed spending time in the shade reading through all of your posts! Unfortunately I can’t choose them all so here are my four favourites, be sure to check out Laura’s favourites too.
Lucy at Home
I loved this post from Lucy this week, Feeling out of sync with everyone else, and relate to it on so many levels. Like Lucy I married young, 23 with a baby in our arms, and whilst my friends were travelling the world and flitting from one man to the next, I had made a family, had a mortgage, and a child who was the centre of my world. I think it’s always hard when your life is suddenly very different to that of your friends, and it can be extremely isolating too. Lucy’s words really resonated with me for that reason, and like her I am learning that different isn’t always a bad thing either.
Bards for Babes
As soon as I saw the title of this post, Rainbow Baby, I knew that it would touch me. A rainbow baby is the name given to a baby born following a loss, the idea being that after the darkest of storms a rainbow appears to give us comfort and hope. With four rainbow babies I know all too well how special these babies are and this poem is filled with so much emotion and honesty.
Toby goes Bananas
I really felt for Sarah when I read her post this week, When you don’t get the job, as I think many of us have interviewed for a job that we didn’t get. Sarah explains how demoralising it can feel and yet she goes on to find the positives, something I really do admire. I like to believe that for every door that closes, another one opens, and in that way the perfect job will come along and everything will fall into place. Good Luck Sarah!
Little Ladies Big World
This week Laura shared her post, Anniversary trip to London, and it really made me smile. I think having time away as a couple is so important and Laura and her husband looked to have a great time together. It was also a reminder of what an amazing city London is, despite the tragedies over the last few weeks, and I was hugely envious of their visit to the Ice Bar, I have wanted to visit there for years!
Please do pop over and check out any of these posts that you have missed, show them a little love, spread a little happiness, and we hope to see you back here again next week!
