Introducing my sponsor for Britmums Live 2017 – SongmicsUK
When I started blogging a little over two years ago, it was very much a hobby and a way of recording our memories with the children as they grow. I had no idea that my blog would take off as it has, nor that I could make a career out of doing something I love, and I consider myself very lucky for that.
Blogging has brought me so many amazing opportunities but none quite as wonderful as the friends I have made, and it has been so lovely to spend time with them at blogging conferences I have attended over the last last year. With four conferences under my belt there is only one which I haven’t tried yet – Britmums Live – held down in London once a year.
Although I live in Lancashire, it is actually quite easy to pop on a train down to London and be there within just a few hours, if only it was quite as easy to fund the train fare and the cost of a London hotel! So I was over the moon when a company I had previously collaborated with offered to be my sponsor and allow me to make the journey down to Britmums Live.
Introducing Songmics
Songmics are an online brand, selling via Amazon, selling a huge range of homeware products, with the focus being very much on home organisation – something which many of us parents need a helping hand with!
The main thing that struck me about the Songmics range is the fact that they are practical, great quality and excellent value for money. From storage cubes to shelving units, notice boards to jewellery hangers, they have so many fantastic products to help you organise and decorate your home.

I am so excited for the weekend and the Britmums Live conference, not to mention the Bib Awards on Saturday evening where I am up for an award as the most Inspirational Blogger. I’m pretty certain that I won’t be returning home a winner, but one thing I am certain of it that I have done myself proud and, more than that, I have done Joseph proud.

Ooooh I’m so jealous. I attended a writing workshop for a weekend, sponsored by my employer once, and it was so fantastic to get PAID to do something I love and learn more about it. Plus, who doesn’t love staying in hotel rooms alone?
