Review: Introducing the world of SNAPSTAR!
My girls adore their dolls but at almost six and seven are slowly moving on from their baby dolls (sob) and becoming more interested in fashion dolls, which is why they were so excited to discover SNAPSTAR dolls!
They couldn’t wait to discover the all new world of SNAPSTAR, an immersive world of fashion, beauty, music, photography and design where a trendsetting squad of six social influencers define what’s next and aspirational!
With six dolls to collect – Lola, Aspen, Dawn, Yuki, Izzy and Echo – each of them are very different with their own unique personalities which I love!
We were lucky enough to receive Lola, Dawn and Yuki along with two outfits which the girls adored. They love dolls where they can change their outfits and mix and match with other figures, so there was a lot of excitement as we unboxed them!
Yuki is a feisty chick who marches to her own beat! She is a music enthusiast always cranking out the hottest Electronic Dance Music tracks. When Yuki isn’t in the studio she is booked solid DJing parties all over town, she’s always sure to get her girls on the VIP list!
Dawn is a high-power, high-fashion diva who only settles for the best—she knows what she wants and always gets it! When Dawn isn’t playing dress-up she is rubbing elbows with celebs at the most exclusive events. Want to know where the party is? Call Dawn!
Lola is a ball go positive energy who sees the best in everyone and the beauty in everything. She is passionate about changing the world for the better, she believes kindness is the key. She is bubbly and giggly!
Each doll has 15 points of articulation that allows for striking just about any pose, as well as glass like eyes, changeable hairstyles, and removable outfits and accessories (cute little handbags and mobile phones).
Each box also contains a stand for each doll as well as a cardboard green screen where you can stand your doll ready for some serious camera action. You can download the free SNAPSTAR app which allows you to style and customize your SNAPSTAR’s hair, make-up, eye colour and shape, accessories and background scene!
My girls are over the moon with their SNAPSTAR dolls and I can see these becoming firm favourites in their play. I think they are great for slightly older girls who still love their dolls but are developing an interest in hair and fashion. Priced at £17.99 per doll they are available to buy now at Smyths.

They look like a great doll to have when you are still interested but not necessarily wanting ones that are a little bit babyish. I love the swap and change of adding in accessories of getting more into hair and fashion.

These dolls look fab! What I particularly like about them is that, apart from the head being out of proportion to the body, they are more realistic in body-part size than some more “traditional” dolls. We have some interesting conversations in our house!
