Introducing Lightopia Festival and we are ambassadors!

I’m so excited to announce my new ambassadorship for Europe’s largest lantern and light festival to debut in Manchester this Winter – Lightopia Festival!

What is Lightopia?

Lightopia will take place at Heaton Park, Manchester’s largest park, and Europe’s largest municipal park, and is a brand new, immersive and visually-dramatic lantern and light festival that looks absolutely incredible!!

The first of its kind in both the UK and Europe, Lightopia promises an exploration of light, movement and form, as well as unique interactive and immersive lights, lanterns, lasers, and water-screen multimedia shows. In short, it looks to be the most amazing experience for families to enjoy throughout the festive season. And we can’t wait to see it!!

Designed by critically acclaimed Ava Moradi, a contemporary artist who has exhibited and created art revolving around light and design internationally for years, the installations include The Love Gate, The Tree of Life, Elysian Field, S-Harmony, The Flower Road and Two Moons eagle. I love that there will always be an iconic design in the form of Light Bees, a symbol with so much meaning to Manchester representing solidarity, unity, and solidarity.

The event includes live entertainment, such as acrobatic performances, local musicians and family rides available to enjoy every night. Of course there will also be plenty of food and drink for all the family.
