Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Season 2

If there’s one toy my children go crazy for, it’s Hatchimals CollEGGtibles! Ever since the first time they saw them advertised on TV, my life has been a constant stereo of pleas for more to add to their collection!

With the launch of Season 2 they can now discover a whole new world of CollEGGtibles and, with over 100 new creatures to collect, nurture and learn about, each from magical places within Hatchtopia, the children were beyond excited to try them!

Following suit from Season 1, the Season 2 eggs are pink with a Purple Heart and certain packs come with a little pink nest where your Hatchimal can sit when hatched.

I can totally see why my children go crazy for these eggs, to them it’s a little like magic. You simply rub the Purple Heart….

Wait until it turns pink….

And then you crack open the egg yourself to see which adorable creature waits inside!

The most exciting part for the children was to see which Hatchimal they had, even more so now that there are just 55 Golden Lynx Hatchimals inside Season 2 eggs. If you are lucky enough to find one you will win a special set of 6 golden Hatchinals CollEGGtibles in a glittery egg carton plus a goody bag! We weren’t quite lucky enough but we did hatch some of the most adorable creatures to add to their collection.

Eva was particularly excited to discover this fuzzy Hatchimal with a different texture to the rest. It was lovely to see how happy she was with it and I know that at the same age, I would have been exactly the same.

The best thing about Hatchimals CollEGGtibles is that there is a real element of fun which doesn’t end when the eggs hatch. I love that the Hatchimals are small enough to hold inside their hands, slip into a pocket or pop into their rucksacks, and we can literally take them anywhere.

You can also download the free Hatchimals app to explore Hatchtopia and play games, and new webisodes available to watch your favourite Hatchimals. I love that Hatchimals CollEGGtibles offer so many fun ways to interact, play and discover and, seeing how much my children love them, I know they will be a firm favourite of ours for years to come.

This is what Kinder should have been. But Thank Goodness some other decided to use this creativity. But if it comes in India, kids will go crazy for this, I mean look at the mechanism behind it. Even I might buy one for decoration purpose.

What a clever idea of whoever thought them up! I can see how addictive they must become. The last great collecting phase in this house was Match Attak cards – also easy to carry around in a pocket and swap!

This is my first time hearing of the ‘hatchimals’ but I love that when you rub the purple heart and it turns pink, a magical creature from Hatchtopia pops out! For some reason the fun pastel colours and design of the animals reminds me of the cute num noms that your kids like. There is an uncanny resemblance don’t you think?

    • Laura Dove
      February 13, 2018 / 11:19 pm
