Gemz by Emz, Making Memories & Netflix #LittleLoves

School’s out for Summer!!! Who’s excited for 6 long weeks of madness? I have to admit, I love the school holidays. I get to spend time with my favourite people, making memories and enjoying our family holiday, and even though I may be hanging on to my sanity by a thread by September, I never want them to end. Anyway, on to this weeks Little Loves!

This week I have read Why Mummy Swears which is the sequel to Why Mummy Drinks and is hilariously funny! It’s the perfect Summer holiday read, especially for parents who can totally relate to Ellen’s life juggling children, work, a husband, and the dreaded PTA Mum’s! I definitely recommend it.

I have just discovered the most amazing series, the real life courtroom thriller – The Staircase! It follows the case of Michael Peterson, an American author, whose wife is found dead at the bottom of the stairs and Michael is investigated for murder. Spanning from 2005 to 2018, the series takes you through the investigation, the arrest, the trial and of course the verdict, with so many twists along the way. I watched all 8 episodes in 3 nights, and safe to say, I loved it! I definitely recommend it!

The Greatest Showman soundtrack – on repeat! The children are quite literally obsessed with the film and this week they have performed songs for me at every opportunity. It has been super cute listening to Harry singing along and his rendition of A Million Dreams brings tears to my eyes! It is just adorable!

Cheating a little but we have been making memories, spending lots of time together and enjoying this gorgeous weather we’ve been having. Nothing makes me happier than getting outdoors with the kids and I’ve loved every minute of it.

With the anniversary of Joseph’s 12th birthday yesterday, it has been a huge comfort to me to wear the most beautiful necklace bearing Joseph’s beautiful little face and personally engraved.

Made by Gemz by Emz, an award winning business creating personalised engraved photo jewellery, canvases and cushions, it is such a lovely idea and perfect for commemorating a loved one or a special occasion. I chose this beautiful engraved photo necklace so that Joseph was never far from my heart, which can be engraved with not only photographs but a baby scan, handwriting, a logo or drawing, or anything at all you like!

The heart is a good size at 27mm x 27mm with a choice of chain lengths. I was really impressed with the quality of the chain as previously I have had necklaces where the chain was very fine. This one is really sturdy and definitely something I will wear every day without fear of breaking! Having chosen a photograph of Joseph on one side, I chose to have a personal phrase on the other, and was really pleased with how it came out.

With prices starting at £34.99 I think it’s a great price for something so unique and personal. Gemz by Emz have some gorgeous products on the site, make sure you check them out over at www.gemzbyemz.co.uk.

We have been trying the most amazing products from The Solid Bar Company who offer a range of luxury, vegan, personal care products that are light, biodegradable, highly-concentrated, eco-friendly and suitable for use by everyone, whilst travelling and in the home. And let me tell you, they are amazing!!

I particularly love the Shampoo, with one super concentrated 43g bar the equivalent of 2 standard sized shampoo bottles. For travelling, that really is an amazing space saver! With prices starting at £6.99 there are so many fantastic products for everyone, even pets!
