Five minutes peace with Crater Craft!

Juggling four children and a blog can be hard work, not to mention running a home and keeping up with friends and family, and I guess over the last few years my “me” time has diminished massively. So flicking through a gossip mag or playing a game on my phone is pretty much my only time just for me, to switch off for just a few moments and forget about the back log of work that needs doing or the laundry baskets which are overflowing, again!

For that reason I was interested to discover the new game from 55pixels, Crater Craft!! Crater Craft is basically a really relaxing yet fun game where you escape your boring office job to assemble a crew of crafters and build, trade and raid your way to the top! Having been made the Craftmaster of your very own crater, it’s up to you to help rebuild the world!

There are some fantastic features to the game –

GROW AND HARVEST

From Jelly Tulips to Candy Trees, your crater’s nectar-loving plants are can be chopped and harvested into raw materials with one swipe and traded.

 RECRUIT CUTE CRAFTERS

I love the adorable little creatures which you can recruit to help you. The more you expand and level up your workforce, the more crafting options you’ll unlock!

 A HOME OF YOUR OWN

This is my favourite part, building and decorating your own home. You can earn different furniture items to make your house a home.

 MEET AND COMPETE

You can also visit other craters and take part in Craftmaster Leagues, making it as friendly or competitive as you like – I especially love the raid feature!

 PERSONALISE YOUR CHARACTER

I love that you can buy stylish clothes and accessories to make your Craftmaster character more like you. You can even change the complexion and hair colour to create a little mini me!

I love the game, I think it’s so relaxing and really allows you to zone out and escape for a little while. My only negative would be that it’s so addictive, be warned if you start to play you might never stop! Thank goodness for nap time!! Download Cratercraft here.
