Review: Daisy London Jewellery

Despite the fact that I love to wear jewellery I know very little about it, especially the smaller boutiques and online shops. So when I was recently introduced to Daisy London, I was keen to find out more about a jewellery brand I knew nothing at all about. It turns out that “Daisy London is a much-loved British jewellery brand known for beautiful, everyday jewellery with meaning. At the heart of Daisy lies an adventure, a love for life, a need to explore. Acknowledging that we are all part of something much bigger and that together, we are everything.” Put like that, it was certainly a brand I wanted to know more about!

Lucky for me I was sent two beautiful 18 carat gold plated necklaces which arrived in no time at all, beautifully packaged inside a stylish gift bag, velvet storage pouch, and the most gorgeous scented candle which smells amazing!

I love gold jewellery and although I do wear white gold on occasion, I find yellow gold suits my skin tone far better and the colours I tend to wear on a daily basis. I was instantly impressed at the colour of the gold which was very pure and not at all brassy looking like some I have had previously. The chains on each necklace were also the perfect thickness so as still to look classically delicate but be strong enough to survive life with three small children!

The first necklace (bottom) is the Estee Lalonde Octagonal 18 carat gold plated design and is a fusion of a vintage style piece reworked with a modern day edge. Featuring a large octagonal pendant with cut out detailing hung on a Figaro chain, it depicts strength and empowerment which I think is utterly perfect for myself. The necklace is priced at £139 and is beautifully gift boxed as a stunning gift for someone special.

The second necklace (right) is the Estee Lalonde T Bar design in 18 carat gold plating and is equally beautiful. The subtly engraved T Bar pendant hangs from a linked chain which can be layered with other necklaces within the range for a totally different look. I adore this collection and how it taps in to the bohemian spirit and freedom of the 1970’s in such a timeless manner. The necklace retails at £139 and again is a beautiful gift for those who love jewellery.
