Last week, when the children went back to school – Lewis into year 10, Eva year 2, Megan year 1, and Harry starting in reception, I had so many hopes and dreams for the children this coming year. With all four children now in school, I hoped that we would fast get into a routine, that the children would settle into their new classes, and continue to thrive and learn as they have done previously.
When we were sent a Back to School bundle from Moj Moj, it was a great excuse to sit down with each of the children and discuss their dreams for the school year, and all four of the children had very different dreams.
Megan’s first dream for the year was to colour, something which she loves to do as often as possible. I am always amazed by the drawings she presents me with each night, always signed off with “I love you Mummy” and a thousand kisses.
Her next dream is to do sums, something which, as a parent, I think is an amazing thing to want to learn. Megan loves maths and is also keen to learn how to tell the time this year. She was so excited to receive her very own alarm clock and has been practicing telling the time every since, I think she has all but mastered it!
And lastly her dream is to play, something that I would definitely have said at the same age. Playtime was always my favourite part of the day when I could have fun with my friends and some of my favourite memories are from primary school, playing on the field in the summer and huddled together in Winter, playing with whatever small toys we had sneaked into school in our pockets.
And my girls are no different, obsessed with collectibles and little toys they can hold in the palm of their hand, sneak into rucksacks, and share with their friends. One of their favourite collectibles are Moj Moj Squishy Toys, an assortment of soft and squishy, rare and ultra-rare characters with fun, collectible themes. With over 95+ to collect and trade, they come in fun coloured blind bags and honestly, my girls go crazy over them!
At £3.99 for a twin pack I love that Moj Moj Squishys seem to give way more for your money than other collectibles and are a great pocket money treat for the kids. The excitement of finding a rare, or ultra-rare Moj Moj Squishy makes collecting them even more exciting, I know my girls were desperate to find the ultra-rare unicorn inside their blind bags!
I can totally see the appeal of Moj Moj Squishys and they really do feel amazing. They are super soft, super cute, and the perfect size to pop into a ruck sack or book bag, particularly for those children who struggle to adapt with a new term, and provide a welcome reminder of home.
My only issue with Moj Moj squishys is that they are a real fluff magnet and fast go from being soft and squishy to soft and sticky! That said, the kids love them way too much to care about a little fluff!
