5 Causes for Hip Problems in Women

Arthritis

A Hernia 

This can be something that affects pregnant women as there is extra pressure on the wall of their abdomen.  The pain will most likely display itself in groin area, and as a result cause frontal hip pain.  Again, this is something that can occur with strenuous sports.  

Gynecological Issues 

Not many people know that hip pain can actually be the cause of gynecological issues.  It’s dependent on other factors such as health issues, and age – but could be the root problem.  Endometriosis could result in pelvic tenderness, which some women can think is hip pain.  You will also feel pain around your back, spine and buttocks, as well as your hip normally.  It usually affects one side of your body.
