Quick, before one of them notices Im missing!!!!

Ive been meaning to start a blog for quite some time but given the fact I barely have time to brush my teeth each morning, it has been somewhat on the back burner! Anyway, by some miracle (and by miracle I mean a combination of Cbeebies and wotsits!) I have found a spare ten minutes in my day without needing to change a nappy, feed a baby, clean up a spillage or extract a foreign object from a childs nostril…so here goes.

My name is Laura and Im a mummy of five. I still have to mentally add up in my head when someone asks me how many children I have, I was so used to saying just the one for such a long time and then three came along at once! Being a Mummy is pretty much all I have ever wanted and although it hasnt been easy, it is absolutely worth it.

A long time ago I kept a blog on a baby web site and it just so happens that the blog helped to save my life. That sounds very dramatic but I put a lot of the fact that I survived the last decade down to some of the wonderful friends that I met along the way, those who dragged me back up out of a very dark hole, took me and my family into their hearts and never once left my side. Every one has their battles, a reason as to why their lives went this way or that, everyone has a heartache behind their smile, a sadness in their hearts and a story to tell and I suppose that now, with four beautiful little ones in my arms and one amazing little boy in my heart, that this is mine…….
