Ever since I had the children I’ve got out of the habit of wearing jewellery, learning the hard way when they were small that necklaces and bracelets are easily broken by grabby little fingers. Now the kids are getting older I’m finally glad to be back wearing jewellery again and when Georgiana Scott Jewellery offered to send me a choice of earrings I couldn’t wait to choose a pair.
Georgiana Scott Jewellery is more than just a jewellery label, they are very much about the person touch with the name actually coming from the names of the founder daughter and son’s middle names. With all pieces made in Italy, the aim was to create luxury jewellery for women of all ages and, having scrolled through the website I could see that they have achieved just that.
I love that Georgiana Scott Jewellery creates premium quality without the premium price tag, something which I feel is a real minority in the market these days. Collections are comfortable to wear in 925 Sterling Silver or 18 carat gold, with the focus being on statement hoop earrings – an old classic with a modern twist.
I opted for the ROMA hoop earrings, made from 18 carat gold plating with a subtle sparkle that catches the light. Simple but stunning, the earrings arrived in a velvet pouch with a gift bag making them the perfect gift for someone special.
Priced at £75 the earrings are a little more expensive than I would usually pay for this kind of jewellery but when I received them and felt the quality, I can see exactly why they warrant the price tag. I can’t even tell you how many pairs of hoops I’ve bought over the years, all of which were very cheap and probably not even real gold to be honest, and I could have saved myself a lot of money with just one decent pair to last me the duration which I’m pretty sure, the ROMA earrings will do.
