Despite trying every hair curler/waver/crimping/straightener on the market over the last three decades, I have somehow reached the grand old age of 41 still completely incapable of styling my hair. Recently I was recommended the Beauty Works Jumbo Waver, a 32mm triple barrel promising to create voluminous beachy waves in just a few simple steps, and I couldn’t wait to give it a try!
Suitable for all hair lengths the Jumbo waver has three extra large ceramic coated barrels to help reduce frizz as well as an adjustable temperature control from 80 to 220 degrees heating in just 60 seconds. With having very fine hair myself I love an adjustable heat so my hair can remain as damage free as possible although it does recommend using a heat protection spray just to really protect your hair as much as possible.
The Jumbo Waver comes with a heat protection glove and mat for extra safety and you literally just section your hair, clamp the waver parallel down each section and it’s as easy as that! For those who prefer a curl then this definitely isn’t the right tool for you, but for those who love that mermaid, undone beachy look, it’s the perfect way to achieve it! I was amazed at how easy it was to use and although it took me a few goes to get the angle right and work out how long to clamp it on each section for my hair type, once I got the hang of it I couldn’t believe I didn’t try it sooner!

No, sorry to say I haven’t had the opportunity to try the Jumbo Waver out yet. In fact, its the first I’ve seen or heard of it, and it looks like an amazing, and exciting must have.
