Review & Giveaway: Philips PowerPro Expert Vacuum Cleaner RRP £240
With four children and a dog, you can imagine just how much I rely on our vacuum cleaner. So when it died last month, you may also imagine just how stressed out I was and how much time I spent on my hands and knees with the dustpan and brush! Thankfully Phillips came to the rescue with the PowerPro Expert, and I couldn’t wait to try it!
On unboxing, I discovered that the PowerPro Expert comes with an additional Crevice tool, the 2-in-1 brush/small nozzle, the Super Turbo brush, Hard Floor nozzle and TriActiveMax nozzle.

When looking for a vacuum cleaner there is a lot to consider, and for me, and main others, the main one is ease of use. As a sufferer or chronic illness, with a whole host of back issues, I need to know that I’m not going to pull my back lugging the vacuum cleaner around the house, or struggle to lift it when I’m vacuuming the stairs.

With the PowerPro Expert being a light weight design and the hose so easy to manoeuvre, it’s so much easier than our old upright design, and way more gentle on my back!

As someone who suffers with allergies, and with Lewis an asthmatic too, the other thing we really need in a vacuum cleaner is anti-allergen technology. The PowerPro Expert is quite possibly the best I’ve seen with regards to that, boasting a filter for 99.9% of pet hair, dust and pollen.

The PowerPro Expert also removes 40% more dust than other vacuum cleaners* and uses PowerCyclone 6 technology for exceptional dust and air separation. It also comes with a SuperTurbo Brush for dog and cat hair-free carpets and a lifetime washable filter. For those who suffer from allergies, I can’t recommend this enough!

With us having both carpet and wooden floors in our home, I love that the PowerPro Expert works equally efficiently on all surfaces. Not only can it remove allergens settled deep into carpets and hard to reach places with the Tri-active 3-in-1 nozzle, but it opens the carpet to remove the dust deep down, sucks up larger particles and sweeps up the dust and dirt alongside furniture and walls using its two side brushes.

The accompanying hard floor nozzle ensures optimal cleaning on all floors, especially on parquet and tiles. It also ues soft brush hairs to protect the floor against scratches, and deliver excellent dust removal in crevices and along walls.

One of my favourite features is that this is a bagless vacuum cleaner featuring Nano clean technology which reduces unpleasant dust clouds when emptying the dust bucket. The dust container is so easy to remove, simply by pressing the release button on the cylinder…

Removing the dust container…

And emptying directly into the bin – it’s so simple, no mess and, most importantly, no coughing fit by the dust cloud I’ve experienced with other vacuum cleaners!

With a 10 metre operating radium the PowerPro Expert is a game changer when it comes to vacuuming the stairs, a job I used to loathe, and with a 7 metre retractable power cable you can easily vacuum large areas.

Once you’ve finished vacuuming you simply press the plug socket lever and the lead retracts away for storage.

I also love that the PowerPro Expert has sturdy wheels for ease of use and can easily be pulled along from room to room. When it comes to vacuum cleaners, Philips really have thought of everything!

We are so pleased with the PowerPro Expert vacuum cleaner and would recommend it to anyone, especially those with children, pets and allergies. We have been using this for the last few weeks and I have seen a marked improvement in my dust allergy which really does speak volumes. With a RRP of £240, in my opinion, this is worth every penny.

Don’t try to do it all at once.Split up the tasks and create bite-size chunks.
With 2 playful dogs this would be a godsend
do a room at one time,to keep on top of it
I always play music when I’m cleaning to keep the momentum going so I don’t just give up.
To not let it build up and then overwhelm you!
Try do a little bit everyday. Clean the shower after a shower, wipe the sink after cleaning teeth etc Then it doesn’t all mount up and get overfacing.
The quicker you get started, the quicker you get finished 🙂

Put Music on, it helps me get things done quicker and motivates me!
Do a room at a time putting music on gets you motivated that way it doesn’t take as long
keep on top of it
Little and often and always to music!
I like to set aside one day a week and really go at it for at least a few hours.
Try to do it in stages rather than all at once. If I try to do it all at once I get overwhelmed
I try to tackle housework in a positive way, it’s a good workout and the end results are good. If I feel positive I feel more energy!
Start at the top of the room and work down – dust falls and if you start on the floor you do it twice!
A little bit each day, so that it’s not so daunting!
I normally start downstairs and work my way up.
clean the space with the windows open to allow circulation

Doing it to some cheesy music…and also rewarding oneself with a glass of wine or chocolate at the end of it!
Make it fun & dress up for the ocassion. Definitely livens up housework during Lock-Down!.
Monday, Weds Fri – quite enough. I do downstairs my wife does upstairs. Then comes and tells me I haven’t done it properly !
Use your washing powder as a general cleaner. It really cuts through dirt, grime and grease, very good on shower trays, baths and sinks. Put some down the loo and watch the stains disappear, no need for other high priced cleaners.
Make a plan with time and day and stick to it
Keep on top of it do it each day
Little and often so it doesn’t get too much
My tip is to do it daily even just dusting then it won’t all get on top of you the chores you need to do.
Have a regular schedule.
Put everything back in their place after use. saves you time in the long run
Tidy up as you go along then cleaning doesn’t take as long to do
Just get on and do it – my philosophy
a good clean once a week – top to bottom – and a quick vacuum to keep on top of things other days.

Music on, children at school and clean extreme! Im telling you its a new work out that people should copy, Its a great way to keep fit! i probably look like a man woman running around with my old hoover and mop but I get it done and burn off some calories win/win
Always have upbeat music playing, it really helps the time go a lot quicker and can make a dull task more fun.
Just potter about and do it, then it doesn’t build up
Put some music on and sing along and boggie while doing the housework, makes the time go quicker and housework feels less of a chore
Little and often, so that it doesn’t feel so much of a chore
My housework tip is to have a routine and follow it so nothing is missed.

A routine so nothing gets forgotten
Do it! Really, get your hands dirty and just start doing it! It’s all it takes.
My tip is to do a few minutes at the start of each day, so as to avoid it building up and being a burden
Am I alone in thinking all vacuum cleaners suck?
My fiancé would say employ a cleaner, which is what he did following having had surgery. Now that we don’t have our employed cleaner :- Due to Coronavirus (covid 19). ” Stay Home “, ” Stay Safe “, ” Help the NHS ” guidance.
Now :- Little, as and when health conditions allow. Music, whilst we work at housework can help.
music is a must for motivation and clean often
Try and find someone else to do it!
Keep on top of it!
little and often 🙂
Little and often does it for me guys
Keep on top of it, listen to music, and sing along!
Start at the far end of the house
I split tasks up instead of trying to do a lot at once and put on some music.
New machines turn my hubby on – with new Philips Power/Pro I would have a few weeks off cleaning!
Put some music on and wear cool, comfortable clothes.
It has to be playing really uplifting music, its so motivating! Xx
clean a little every day and one big clean a week
Break it up into tasks or rooms – don’t try and do the whole house in one day.
Little and often, be brutal when decluttering
Little and often
Try to get someone else to do it….
My best tip for housework is one that is commonly known and spoken of, but it really does work. It is: “Little and Often”. I do housework every day, and that seems to work well, for me anyway XXX
Have set jobs for everyone in the household to do, so that when you say it’s time to do the housework, everyone knows what to get on with. Team work makes the dream work, as they say.
Put some good music on to distract yourself and promise yourself a reward once it’s done!
Turn your music up an crack on
We split the cleaning into sections (kitchen, bathroom, whole house hoovering and whole house dusting) and so one each week.
Do it at the start of the day, and do it frequently.
Turn the music up super-loud & pretend you’re not mopping a floor!
bust the tunes out and dance your way through it
i use an app that spreads all the jobs out over time
Best to keep on top of things by doing a little and often.
For me, it’s all about pacing, as I suffer M.E. My partner does most of the household chores, and he generally prefers to do pretty much the entire house in one day! But I try to keep on top of things by putting things away when no longer needed/used, and try to do one room to help out. Music is always a great accompaniment, too! Makes it feel less droll, and makes time go by easier.
Set an alarm for 5 minutes and do as much as you can in that time. Working against the clock motivates you as you know it’s not long, you’ll be surprised by what you achieve
To have set days for set jobs, so I call Wednesday ‘wet Wednesday’ which is bathroom day!
Play decent music with a great beat and dance as you clean – burn off some calories and clean at the same time 😀
Put your hair up and turn the music up!
listening to music, makes it go quicker! x
I think the key is staying on top of it i tidy as i go and never leave a job for the morning.
Listening to my favourite tunes makes it more enjoyable
Don’t try to do too much
do it while listening to music
Do a little each day to keep on top of it! x
Have a set routine.
My wife has a weekly list for doing certain things on certain days, as she is obsessed about the house always looking neat and tidy!
Do bits little and often and you’ll be surprised
I try and rope my children in to help me. The more of us doing it, the less time it takes! My 10 year old is actually really good at vacuuming!
Do it regularly and it wont be stressful
My best tip for doing the house work is try and get someone else in the house to do it 😉
I do regular small chunks to achieve all I can with chronic health issues and two little ones!
Put on some music that you enjoy and aim to do fifteen minutes. I usually enjoy it so much that I carry on.
Just start it, don’t think about it for too long!

Make sure your house is free from clutter. It makes cleaning so much easier.
Do a little bit here and there, otherwise it feels really overwhelming
Do it when he kids are in bed, it’s an impossible task when they’re awake 😛
Little and often is my motto so no chore becomes too big to want to tackle
Do it little and often!
My top tip is to keep on top of it daily to prevent a pile up! I always dry my bathroom after showering or bathing, it saves a build up of dust.
Keep on top of it, and clean while listening to your fav music
Do a couple of chores and then have a little rest
once you start do not stop untill it is finished
When it comes to housework I am not very motivated so making lists and ticking the jobs off as i go helps me to get things done
Little and often is the key
By keeping on top of it in order to prevent dust building up
get the expert to do it ie. (the wife)
dance to your fave music whilst cleaning!
Put upbeat music on 🙂
Little and often, a bit each day, make a list id it helps.
Get everyone who lives there to help, don’t be a martyr
Deep clean once a year
Music to keep you motivated
Having the family out for the day and starting from the top to the bottom, especially as i’ve got a 3 story house with 2 flights of stairs. I know the kitchen will be the last place to clean and not a nice thought to think about, but my insentive is a cream cake waiting in the fridge for me! lol
Clear as you go and don’t let jobs pile up
Sweet music – i forget im cleaning !
Get the wife to do it!
take it one room at a time and put on some good tunes!
Doing cleaning bit by bit helps me. I’ll have a list in my head and attack things slowly. Making sure to do things like spray down the shower first and leaving it to clean itself before I go back to it.
Don’t let it slide and just keep on top of it each.
Little and often x
I hate doing housework so my best tip is to do it ‘little and often’ and make sure you have the right cleaning products!
Put your favourite playlist on and get on with it.
I dust first before hoovering, otherwise you can end up with dust etc on the carpet.
Sing as you go. It will lift your spirits
Hello, my best tip for housework is to do it little and often so it doesn’t get overwhelming.
Do a little bit everyday except one; a rest day is important!
i try and get all the housework done when the kids are at school or in bed otherwise im sneaking out to the bin like an escaped convict trying to bin broken toys! Music helps the time fly.
Do 1 room at a time to keep on top of it
Try and clean/tidy one room at a time.
Do it first thing in the morning, then you have the rest of the day for yourself
Do a little every day, otherwise, it becomes overwhelming and you end up with loads to do!
Put on a good playlist!
Put some music on
Little and often so it doesn’t build up
The way I do it is to do a small amount every single day
Set yourself a target
focus on one room at a time!! get that done before moving onto the next!
Program Alexa to play a housework playlist that you compiled.
I always start at the top of the house in the bathroom, then bedrooms, hallway and stairs, Kitchen, living room and then can relax.. some days it only takes a little while, other days, can take all day long….. x Music helps and having no one else around to interrupt… during lockdown, I am finding it hard going as soon as I clean, the house is untidy again… and don’t get me started on the dog fur… Can I hoover the dogs with this…. xx #Joke
Have a routine and do tasks in order.
Spread it out daily so you don’t have everything to do on one day
I just do it bit by bit so i don’t have to spend ages at a time cleaning.
Keep clutter to a minimum which makes housework easier
Use it as an exercise routine, bend, stretch etc.
Little and often
lots of music it makes me work better
Turn on some music and make it fun and involve the children so their chore become part of their routine as a fun activity.
Do not let it build up! Do a little each day.
Set yourself a timer of 15 minutes and do as much as you can in that 15 minutes.
LITTLE AND OFTEN
Break it down and do a little bit everyday rather than spend hours cleaning the whole house
Don’t leave it all to do in one go! little bits daily
furniture wipes are great for dusting because they capture the dust much better than a dry duster used with polish
I tend do do a bit every day instead of all in one go
i always put my radio on to absolute 80s or a really good station that plays upbeat music when im cleaning and more often than not you will find me dancing with the hoover or duster haha
I always find listening to my favourite music or most recently, I listen to a psychic on instagram live; giving ( very accurate ) readings! It makes me clean so much harder for some reason!
A room a day and just keep on top of things rather than letting it slide otherwise it becomes a daunting task
I always put music on and the housework goes by much quicker.
Have a rota – a room per day – rather than trying to do it all in one go
This is a nice looking hoover would love to review this!
I have a set routine for cleaning my home, where I will have a different chore to do each day. It helps me keep track and keep my home under control.
Use as many natural cleaning products as possible so as to limit your exposure to nasty chemicals.
I sing when I clean, Especially with the vacuum cleaner on for some reason.
I like to see how much I can get done in short bursts of time. I’ll set an alarm on my phone for 10 minutes in a room and power through, then I’ll move on to the next one. It becomes a bit like a game and doesn’t take all day!
Keep a cleaning ‘box of tricks’ upstairs and downstairs so you can do little and often.
Do it when no one else is in the house, so much more gets done without interruptions
Always get your housework done in the morning, that eat you can relax more in the evening without worrying about chores piling up! 🙂
Haves many wifes to all is esy
Do it little and often otherwise it can be daunting. And get help from everyone from tidying bedrooms to loading the dishwasher
Clean as you go.
Start with the dirtiest job/room and if the rest doesn’t get done…well it was not that necessary anyway.
Get everyone in the household to help and hopefully they will think twice about making a mess!
My top best tip for doing the housework is to not leave it all to the last minute. Do a little bit as you go along.
Do one room every day and listen to your favourite music to make it less unpleasant.
I commit to doing only 30 minutes housework a day and save any big jobs for one day at the occasional weekend.
Little and often, better to stay on top than let it build up and look more scary!
Do a little each day.
Start at the door and clean from the top to the bottom of the section in front of you then step to the right and clean top to bottom, continue this as you go around the room. This means that all the dust and dirt gets cleaned from the the top to the bottom. This technique works and is fast. I used it when I use to be a professional cleaner.
Play some loud, lively music and sing along to it while you’re cleaning
I always wear something comfortable and try to do it as quickly as possible without getting distracted.
A little bit at the time and regular breaks!
Enlist help from anyone who lives in the house. Don’t get grumpy. Give yourself and everyone a time challenge for each task. Rotate the tasks. Do the odd little thing when you see it needs doing,
Live in a hotel.
Music whilst you work
play music as you do it as it helps as you sing along
Put some music on as you clean that way your cleaning and dancing and time will just fly !! 🙂
Do it little and often, keeping on top of it stops it getting so overwhelming!
Music and breaks.
Doing a little bit every now and again helps it not all build up. And when a do, do a big clean it always helps to have my favourite songs playing.
I do my housework in parts otherwise I would get overwhelmed
Doing a bit each day
To keep on top of it during week and then a good thorough clean at weekend
Keep on top of it and set yourself a routine in order to break it down.
put the radio on sing a long as you do it gets it done quicker
Turn the music up and crack on!
Have a general weekly clean of the whole house, but every week, one room gets a thorough clean and declutter.
don’t do it all yourself, share the workload and it won’t seem as daunting, teamwork is they key!
I am terrible at house work, a real slob but even I know it gets too bad to leave alone. Still, when my mates won’t come round because of the the mess that’s when I know that I have to get going. I’ve got into the habit of hosting a football gathering every week and knowing that I have to make the place decent for that spurs me to get the job done otherwise I get too careless. So, yeah, invite people over and use that as motivation to get it done.
Do a little bit each day, so that it doesn’t build up.
Make a list for the week,That take a couple of hours a day,and don’t allow yourself to become distracted before you have finished each task,Then you can sit down with a good book etc.Reward yourself after you have finished

Little & often. Do one room thoroughly once a week & a quick tidy the rest of the time. Also delegate chores!
Get some nice cleaning products to make it feel a bit more exciting.
make a check list of what needs doing
Do little, often.
Don’t leave everything to do at one time – do one room each day.
Try to do a little and often so its not such a huge task
I try and get it done in smaller chunks – little and often, and I stick to the 5 minute rule, if something is going to take 5 minutes or less do it as soon as you think of it like taking the washing upstairs, putting the pots away, making the bed, etc.
keep on top of it rather than let it build up. I have a cleaning routine every week do same things on certain days, it breaks it down into manageable chunks
I find blasting out some Journey tracks really helps me to get me doing the housework! I usually start from upstairs & work my way down – also I find it helps if you have no one home with you or even whilst the kids are at school otherwise I would just get sidetracked and end up sitting down and chatting ect.
For me it’s definitely do all the cleaning first before you sit down and watch any tv, because if you are anything like me you will end up getting distracted
Put some nice music on and make it enjoyable
My best tip for doing the housework is just clean as you go. Although I’m probably not the best person to ask as I can never stay on top of it. The kids can undo faster than I can do.
Do it as quickly as possible lol
I put on my gym clothes (so it also counts as my work out) and blast music to make it enjoyable
As many people have said before – little and often so that it doesn’t become an overwhelming chore!
My Tip is start with glass ware first and then move onto everything else after as the is on expensive and most shiny glassware, you don’t want it to smash.
I set aside one day a week to go clean through the house then through the rest of the week
I just do it little and often to prevent a huge build up.
very simple —get a cleaner
Put music on, i always find music motivates me for cleaning
Get the kids to help to earn pocket money and do a room each day
Do what you have to but avoid the rest for as long as possible!
Do one room at a time, start at the top aand work your way down.
Try to do bits at a time and clean up as and when you finish and have specific days to do the less routine daily cleans.
Dust from top to bottom so you aren’t displacing dirt onto lower surfaces you already cleaned.
Do it with somebody else – your partner or (once lockdown is over) a friend – clean your house together one day and theirs another day. You are less likely to keep getting distracted, and a lot of taskes are easier and more efficiently done with two pairs of hands. Plus, you motivate each other!

I make a list and tick off as I do each task
I always wake up really early, used to start work at 5am so still in that mode. So I like to do some housework really early before everyone else is up and getting under my feet/

Put the radio on – I spend much longer on jobs when I have music playing.
Music always motivates me to get my cleaning on, gets pretty boring without it! haha x
Routine. List what to do each day.
Do it in the morning !
My biggest tip for housework would be to listen to music while you’re doing it. Not only can you get your wiggle on and burn some calories at the same time but it gives you the motivation to get it done and the time flies 😊
My best tip is to tackle just one room at a time so it doesn’t get too much for you x

do a little bit every day
Try to do little and often, don’t leave things till they become a bigger job.
Getting someone else to do it haha. Not really, just do a different room every day and keep on top of the washing daily.
Stick on earphones and play your best upbeat housework playlist – time flies
We have a calendar where family members write down what task they have done and how long spent on it. The children get a reward when completing several tasks satisfactorily and pocket money is stopped when the tasks are not done.
My tip is start at the top and work down! No point vacuuming the floor to then do the dusting and deposit all that dust on your nice clean floor
Don’t stress about it and do a room at a time x
Make a list of all of the chores that need to be done, then spread them out across the week. That way you can do a little bit each day, instead of having to spend a whole day doing all of them. Which I find makes it much more tolerable.
Do it bit by bit then it doesn’t seem so overwhelming
Bone of contention with my daughter, as she is a flitter, doing a chore here and a job there in each room.. I, on the other hand, prefers the one room at a time method. I start with the lounge, and do everything from removing items that are just laying around into the next room, to the clean the windows and everything iin between. Then I move onto the next room, and so on, until I reach the bathroom – final room – when the bathroom is done, I have a lavender oil bath, and change into one of my velour leisure suits, and then have a gin and tonic xx.
Get the best materials you can afford to make it easier
Do a bit each day

Don’t put it off!
Try and do a little each day so it does not become overwhelming

A little bit at a time so it doesn’t seem so daunting
Make a list of jobs and tick them off as you do them works for me.
My tip is to do little and often! And don’t make the mistake I have and start a bunch of interlinked things that you can’t fully complete without finishing something else!
Get into a routine of always wiping down the hob after the evening meal, have a bundle of washing ready each morning to get the washing on early to give plenty of time for line drying, etc. so jobs get done automatically and avoids a big lacklog to be sorted out at once.
Having a basket on the stairs that I chuck everything in that doesn’t belong downstairs before I tidy anything xx
Don’t get distracted! Im terrible for finding things as im cleaning and playing with them x
Have the best tools for each job, to make cleaning quick, easy and effective.
Write a list otherwise I get easily distracted!
Little and often. The more mess and the more will it takes to get it done.
Delegate, delegate, delegate…..
Put some music on as you work
Little and often. If you clean as you go, the rest never seems as daunting
don’t over load washing machine
Little and often
Do it there and then, tidy as you go, clean it when you have used it every time, it does not mount up then.
Do one room a day
My best tip is not to leave jobs to do too long, keep on top of cleaning.
Don’t let this mess build up or it becomes overwhelming
Do it one room at a time, if you try and do different bits in different rooms it won’t feel like your getting very far.
Do it to some happy music
Do a little everyday to keep on top of things
Empty Hoover before you begin they always pick up better
Do one room at a time I do my housework daily to keep my home smelling fresh and clean.

My tip would be to do little and often….
tidy up as you go, at the moment it’s a little difficult as I’ve got a teen and a toddler in the house but after lunch we do a quick 20 min blitz… I vacuum, clean the bathroom, my son dusts and my daughter gets handy with the anti bac spray 🙂
Having a good routine and share jobs out amongst the family
My tip top is to put some music on, I seem to get more done with music distracting me in the background.
Little and often! Music on and your away!
My top tip is putting on some feel good music to dance along to while I work!
one big clean a month , then start from top to bottom daily so it never builds up- plus have music on as the time just slips by without even realising it
Get a lightweight vacuum cleaner which won’t tire you out carrying it up the stairs
Get some good music playing and start with a small goal and then before you know it you’re are on a roll
Try to do little but often
Definitely little and often! makes it so much easier and saves you having to spend all weekend doing it!
Having music on or listening to a podcast can be very motivating!
1 room a day so you dont get bored
If you see something that needs cleaning, do it straight away; for example: the kitchen sink has items to wash – quickly do them before the pile gets to groan stage.
If you spill, clean it up
If you drop something do it staight away.
Bit by bit and try and do one room at a time
Do a little bit every day to keep on top of it and get a good system in place
doing a little everyday helps save time in the long run
Always do one room at a time
Do a little bit every day rather than having to spend hours tidying when it has built up
Try to do a room every day that way it is not so overwhelming!
Little and often works best. Helps to keep on top of things.
Get everyone involved. Even my toddler helps by moving clothes from the washing machine to the tumble dryer for me, or by helping wipes over surfaces etc.
keep ontop of it xx
I do one room at a time and listen (and dance) to music!
My best tip is let someone else do it! (usually my wife lol)
Put some music on
My partner and I tend to have a quick clean of the house together in the mornings – I do the hoovering and he follows behind with the steamer 🙂
I think doing little and often is quite a good way of doing it. Then you don’t run out of steam!
Damp dust. I have allergies so can’t use chemicals. dust doesn’t float in the air then.
Put on “The War of the Worlds” CD. I get so caught up in it, that the house is none by the time it finishes. Plus its a good ‘sing-a-long’
I try to keep on top of it each day -easier said then done 🙂
Play some music while you work. Need to vacuum every day when you have pets
don’t try and do too much and prioritize so if you get stopped before you’ve finished you’ve got the worse but over and done with
For vacuuming, invest in a comfy bean bag or something similar and place in the middle of the room, then all of the vacuuming can be done whilst comfortably seated
Put some good dance tunes on and it’ll put you in the mood and you’ll clean twice as fast!
Little and often is the best so you won’t get overwhelmed.
I do one room at a time. I do the kitchen, then bathroom then the rest of the rooms are easier after that.
Get everyone involved, make a game of it, who can tidy their room first etc then have a ‘reward’ – games night or choosing supper etc
Set a day of hte weke to do your main chores then just do them as you go in the week
Do a little bit everyday so it does not build up and become overwhelming.
Send the devil dog to another room when vacuuming and DO NOT leave her in the same room as a vacuum… We’ve already lost a shark to her…
A few drops of either lavender or citrinella oil on a cotton wool ball and put inside the hoover before you hoover the house and the carpets will smell extra lovely, and insects will be discouraged such as carpet mothetc.
Break it down into smaller tasks, ideally 2-3 each day.
Do it little and often and use a damp cloth for the dusting
Try to put everything away first and do one room at a time before vacumming
Do a bit each day
My tip is to play some lively music to lift your spirits
I’d have to say do one room at a time. When you start doing bits and bobs in other rooms it just confuses you and takes double the time
Start with the smallest room so you feel like you’re getting somewhere!
To get on with it! Don’t procrastinate and just get on with it.
Make sure the hubby & kids are either out or in a different room, turn up the turns and dance & sing your way through the housework
Keep on top of it, nothing worse than getting overwhelmed with it all makes it seem so daunting!
Get your favourite music on, then sing and dance through it!
Try to tackle things when you have time instead of trying to do bits here and there
When I go into a room, I try and do a small job before I leave, such as sweeping the floor.
My best tip for doing the housework is do a bit each day so it don’t build up.
Just crack on and get it done!
My best tip for doing the housework is use natural ingredients
