Party planning with Poundtoy *Win £50 voucher*
With Harry and Megan turning five and six this month it’s time to start party planning, something I find so stressful! Although the children have a joint party, born just 12 months and 4 days apart, there is so much to plan such as presents, decorations and party bags. I find party bag fillers hard work and usually, what starts out as just a few little bits ends up costing an absolute fortune so I was interested to see what I could get from Poundtoy for the party bags this year.
For Megan’s friends we went for the Unicorn Stickers (35p), Unicorn temporary tattoos (40p), Unicorn puzzle maze games (35p), Unicorn glider (50p) and Unicorn jigsaw (35p). For less than £2 I was able to create a jam packed unicorn themed gift bag for her friends to take home and still only a fraction of the cost that we were quoted by the venue to purchase their pre-made party bags.
Megan is all about the party bag, and for her the fun is seeing all the little bits inside. But for those who are happy with pre-purchased bags Poundtoy have an amazing range of fun packs including these LOL Surprise bags at just £1.50!
For Harry’s friends, who are all a lot younger at four and five I went with a choice of Thomas & Friends (£1.50) and Monster Jam (£2) blind bags which I know the kids will go crazy for and it’s an easy purchase for me to just have one item and be done.
